But Islam has Sharia courts and Sharia judiciary in which they quote the same Quran verse and wife gets more beatings !

I agree religion does not tell,but men do so (often) anyway!! often hidden and behind closed doors,but the abuse of women by their husbands and boy friends is more frequent as you might think or know (also in other countries and amongst other religions) that is what I wanted to point out!!,and I am aware that the situation of the women in Islam is often bad,but you will also find many who love and respect their wifes, any kind of generalisation I would reject as unjust

The generalization is just, obvious and correct as you can see thousands and thousands of women suffering under Islamic regimes all over the world. If there are many in Islam who love and respect their wives then they are not truely following Islaam ! (this is no taaqiyya) And if your not truely following Islaam then you can be declared as apostate and you could be hanged. you seem to be from India,if so,what I hear from there is that most abortions done,are that of female foetus,it does not seem that that women are getting the respect that they should have there either,or what about those women who suffer an "accident" and die (like through fire in the kitchen) when the dowery was not big enough? Here we are talking about "men" physically injuring women . But any women being forced to have abortion can walk to the nearest police station and lodge a complaint there in India. Hurting women is bad, not just women, hurting anyone or any living thing is bad. How do u cure the ills ? Having police enforcing the rule of law is the way to go. You won't see only cutting ears for listening to music, cutting legs for dancing, cutting tongue of singing etc. They all happen only in Islamic countries. 99% of all the women abuses that we see on youtube are mostly Islamic women. Infact most are from Aghanistan or pakistan or egypt etc.

2) I know that many bad things are happening to women in Islam but I repeat it one more time, NOT only there,and there are also men who treat their women well, I really dislike when one group is "targeted" it is not religions that are hurting people but the interpretation of it through men..societies need to be changed,so that women and children are better protected,I am against hurting women as much as I am against abortions when a girl is expected (India/China)..

Incidentally India and China, both have banned ultrasonic scanning centers at clinics. Only big hospitals are supposed to have them and any doctor disclosing the sex of child can be imprisoned upto 10 years and his medical license would be removed permanently. Now try passing a similar kind of rule against Sharia practitioners in Afghanistan then see their reaction. Don't tell me people cut ears in USA or in Romania for listening to music(at a rate of 200 cases per year).
