ok now this is wired..but what is that star on the label about? i hear collectors talk about it,saying its a speical edition, but i also hear people say it's the devil's record company, cbs and the all seeing eye logo on the label..what do yall think?
Another JOE SOUTH song, so funny South had a good baritone voice and all his songs fit same, but somehow most of the hits went to the high pitched Royal???????
This track was actually produced by Joe South so maybe he didn't think his voice would go down so well on this track and decided on getting Billy Joe in to lay the vocal down.
Anything from 65-75 gets me going Di,i don't get on with the newer stuff so much as some of it is a bit over produced for me,just a simple 4/4 kick drum and pounding beat is what tickles my feathers
My Dad had a stack of old 45 records when I was a kid, and this was one of my favorites!

Never one of my favorites by Billy Joe and I don't recall it did very well nationally. I like it but I can live without it!

Joe South and Billy Royal are the pros, But as a customer that buys and listens to thier work I perfer the voice of Joe South on just abut all.
