  • Use your brain guys, not your heart. Unless you want all the races in the world assimilated and mixed together so there is no diversity support this!

  • @Dercommandingofficer You're obviously someone who still needs to grow up and learn some self respect, otherwise you wouldn't be on YouTube trying to get cheap thrills through flaming comments.

  • @salemmaman Self respect? Why don't you respect races and not allow this outrageous way of assimilating them through this mixing genocide.

  • @Dercommandingofficer I'll let this last comment stand just so that people can see how ignorant some people still are, but you are blocked.

  • salemmaman, I don't know the answer to your question. I've just never bothered to take a good, long look at the system here on youtube. Thus, it's probably not important enough to me to be able to read my own old postings. Perhaps the fact that I don't log out may have something to do with it? Who knows? Most of my time on youtube is NOT spent in debating various and sundry matters. I have many more important things to do than argue with people.

    Have a nice day. VJ!

  • @DeedsResearcher Thanks for your response. I think it is important for you to remember that people are individuals and they deserve, just like you, to be judged by their actions and not as part of some faceless malevolent group that threatens society. You have been respectful to me and in turn you have received respect; this is the simple principle our society works upon. We can all learn to live together in peace, even when we disagree on key issues. In fact, we already do. Look around you. :)

  • @salemmaman One year ago, you wrote the following: "My religion says gay marriage is fine," Oh really? If you are indeed a Knight of Columbus, you have to know that our religion does NOT say that "gay marriage is fine". Where, and from what official source, have you ever heard such a thing? It just is not true. The Roman Catholic Church does not endorse "gay marriage", and you should know that. Would you care to clarify that?

  • @DeedsResearcher Sure, as soon as you respond to why you continue to say that marriage has always been between one man and one woman when you've been proven wrong. If you want dialog you have to support your statements when questioned too. Otherwise I accuse that your are using a red herring to draw people off subject, and I am not falling for that.

  • @salemmaman Because in the 60+ years that I've lived on God's good Earth, I have never heard of any major religion endorsing anything other than man/woman marrriages. Someone coming on to youtube claiming that some tribe has done otherwise is not proof of anything other than the ability of someone to make up a story. No "red herring" is being used by myself.

There's a reason why I don't play poker: I never bluff! And I've never used a hyphenated name, either.

  • @DeedsResearcher You claimed smugly to someone else that marriage has been between one man and one woman for 6000+ years. You said you know of no religion besides Mormons that have multiple wifes. You tell someone not to swear yet use the French word for Sh*t when accusing our opinions as being anti-catholic. You seem uninformed and hypocritical, you should review what you say before sharing so you don't look so foolish in the future. FYI, I'm 44 myself, age doesn't equal wisdom.

  • @salemmaman Other than Mormons, I know of no other major organized religion that endorses "multiple wives". And even the Mormons require that each wife be treated like a separate family, in a sense. In other words, they do not bring all their wives under the same roof. As for profanity, I didn't use any, but it's nice to see you know some of the French language.

I review everything I post, and from your reactions, it's my guess you didn't learn much from your 3rd degree, if you took it at all.

  • @DeedsResearcher Ever hear of Muslims or the religion of Islam? They represent about 22% of the world's population and have 1.5 billion members. America denounces multiple wives, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist in the civilized world.

  • @salemmaman I wish I'd never heard of Muslims. About 19 of them are responsible for the slaughter of thousands of innocent people in 9/11, including 46 Brother Knights who were there to fight the fires in the Twin Towers.

There are over 2.1 billion Christians on Earth, and slightly over half of them are Roman Catholic. In spite of that, there is only 1 Catholic "theocracy' in the world: the tiniest nation on Earth: Vatican City. Most Muslim nations seem to be theocracies, and that's scary!

  • @DeedsResearcher I guess you're not going to stop with the K of C thing until I give you proof. In the first degree it is I who wears the mask. In the third degree it is the others who do. In the third degree I was the one who tried to leave and was stopped by my grandfather; you know why. Now cut out the attempt to make it sound like I am lying about being a knight, it is deceitful and wrong to bear false accusations against people you don't know. Your disrespect is unchristian.

  • @salemmaman Fine, except that masks are no longer used at either degree! My best guess is that it's been some time since you last attended one of our ceremonials. I attend degrees often, especially since I play an important role in some of them. You will see that some notable changes have been made, but I won't go into them here.

By the way, if Carl Anderson can use the "VJ" in his Columbia articles, then it clearly is not considered to be "secret".

  • @DeedsResearcher You don't think the word sh*t is profanity?! Maybe not by your standards, but if your standards are that low you should refrain from lecturing others on the subject.

  • @salemmaman Actually, I do...up to a point. That's why I used the French term. Most people here would not know the meaning unless they also spoke French. Hey, even Captain Jean-Luc Picard once used the word "merde" on a Star Trek episode. Would the good captain use a profanity if it were really so bad? Doubtful! So I either use "merde", or I use nothing at all.

  • @DeedsResearcher I see your point, and since I am also a Star Trek fan I will take the good Captain's ethic as proof. :)

  • @salemmaman In that case, may you live long and prosper!

  • Great speech! Unfortunately, not enough people understood the message. :(

  • ROFL! You're so stupid you can't even get your slurs right! It's Turd TAPPER you moron! LOL, your stupidity does more to insult you than anything I ever could think of, I'll leave it at that. ;)

  • oh no!!!....looks like you just mentioned it in the same sentence!!...

What a fuckin idiot. Go back to playing with your barbie dolls, you're obviously not mature enough to be on the internet.

  • same sex marriage is evil........

  • So because of your religious beliefs you think it is right to deny others freedom? My religion says gay marriage is fine, I guess equality doesn't matter if you don't approve? Get a life and don't be so petty as to troll on your opponents videos, it makes you look like an asshole.

  • @salemmaman Since you claim to be a K of C member, you should know that only practical Catholics in union with the Holy See are eligible for membership. So here you say "My religion says gay marriage is fine". Really? Since when has the Roman Catholic Church EVER said such a thing? You know as well as I do that that is an untruth. No Pope has ever said it, and to my knowledge, neither have any Cardinals or Bishops.

We'll have to see what the State Deputy thinks about this one. Goodbye.

  • @DeedsResearcher I am no longer an active member of the Church or in the K of C, that should be obvious. However, I have not turned my back on Christ as He is what gives me the strength to show you neighborly love when none is given in return. I'm holding out hope that the Church doesn't take 400 years to admit they made a mistake like they did with Galileo. I've not been officially thrown out so if it makes you feel better to turn me in then be my guest. Pax Christi, have a happy Sunday.

  • @salemmaman For what it's worth: I do not endorse doing physical harm to anyone just because they have a different political view than I have. To each his (or her) own when it comes to politics.

  • @DeedsResearcher I don't ask for acceptance, or to be included. What I want and what a lot of people want that I know is to just be left in peace. I don't flaunt myself in front of my neighbors, I treat them with respect as I would have them treat me. I don't even approve of public displays of affection, so I am very conservative in many aspects. I appreciate that you don't endorse violence, now if you could just live and let live things would be as they should.

  • You're evil.

  • @darkfur35 no religion is evil

    same sex marriage is good

  • @idaman12345

You want to marry your sister don't you?

  • @CHARESTHEHAMER I don't have a sister. :)

  • @CHARESTHEHAMER even if i had a sister, no i wouldnt

and why ask such a stupid question?

  • @idaman12345

why else would you want to redefine marriage so badly?

You want to get it on in a gross way.

  • @CHARESTHEHAMER What people do in their privacy should be none of your concern. No one in America has the right to control their neighbors simply because they disapprove of their actions. I respect your freedom to share your ideas and your disapproval, I just disagree with you.

  • @salemmaman

"What people do in their privacy should be none of your concern"

ooooooooooh! you are boinking your whore sister!

  • "I refuse to prove that I exist," says God, "for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing." "But," says Man, "the Babel fish is a dead giveaway, isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves you exist, and so therefore, by your own arguments, you don't. QED." "Oh dear," says God, "I hadn't though of that" and promptly vanishes in a puff of logic." Douglas Adams

  • I have no idea what point you're trying to make.

  • sure you do ;o)

  • the point is the bible is made up. written by man.

  • It's wrong 20 years ago and it's wrong now. Very true. Absolutely beautiful speech.

  • Even though I am heterosexual I have decided that while my homosexual friends cannot get married in this state, neither will I. Equality for all must be upheld. How can the people who oppose this bill try to claim that it's an issue of morality? It's immoral to discriminate. Also to Rodrico, your spelling, incoherency and general tone all demonstrate your lack of intelligence and general human decency. It may be a tall order, but try to have a little empathy and you may improve.

  • Thanks for your comment, that's a great progressive attitude you have. If we can get people like you to share your opinions with those you care about and come in contact with it may make all the difference in the world we live in tomorrow. The children of the future deserve to make their own mistakes and not have to live with ours as well. It's time we cleaned up our acts and made discrimination history.

  • It's a parallel issue and you wanting to see him physically harmed for having a viewpoint different from yours is proof of your character. I can only hope that decent people outnumber your type at the voting offices across Maine. I know that I will be among the number that votes for equality for all, not equality for all heterosexual, white, male, protestants. No on 1

  • I'm voting NO on 1. It's no one's business who and how you love.

  • Thank you for voting NO. :)

I'm going to be traveling to Maine this weekend with Join the Impact MA to knock on doors, you can join us if you like! If you can't and you still want to make a difference you can start by talking to all the people you can about why you are voting NO. This fight may be the turning point we've all been waiting for, we can't lose focus.

  • Equality for all! Vote no on 1.

  • I think the man who actually suffered under anti-miscegenation has the right to speak for himself, and he did so by supporting equality. This is your last post here, you are now banned from commenting. Have a great life! :)

  • I find it ironic that you could be a minority and still not understand that equality is for everybody. If you don't approve of GLBT equality that's one thing, but why bother leaving a message of hate here? It speaks poorly of you and your character, please don't return, your comments are unwelcome.

  • This was one of the nicest speeches.

    We are almost there

  • Comment removed

  • Thank you! I think Maine gets it, so if you want to help NH they need it much more. Call the democratic leadership and ask them to hold democrats to the party platform that calls for full equality on pages 61 & 62.

  • If you like you can click on my website link and see other pictures and video of that day. I think Maine get's it, I think they are going to have equality. I couldn't be more proud for them, or America this year. It's amazing what a change in leadership does to bring us back together. We will one day live as true brothers and sisters in peace, in the promised land!

  • What a wonderfully honest speech. It speaks of truth, justice and the American way. I am so proud that so many people see this as a civil rights issue and are not caving into the fear and bigotry. God bless America.

    MARRIAGE EQUALITY FOR ALL!

  • YES WE CAN

LET no one tell us otherwise!

  • wow, thank you so much for posting this!!!! very powerful, and im praying and hoping maine will also embrace marriage equality =). Great video.

  • Great video Great story thank you
