Song is written by Bryan Adams who originally wrote the song for Ray Charles. Ray never got to sing "The Right Place". Bryan sings the song on his Bare Bones acoustic tour which he is on now. I was fortunate to see the concert feburary 23rd in Davenpot, Iowa. Taylor hick is a good singer but no one can sing this song like Bryan Adams can.

Very candid interview. Taylor is a good/bright speaker who really understands and treasures the world of soul music. It helped and inspired him as a youth and he carries on the tradition of its merits today. His passionate delivery of this Bryan Adams' penned tune is fantastic, makes you smile, and equals it perfect album recording. Taylor has a very comfortable manner when he performs and that is refreshing. He is definitely original, as Elizabeth alludes to. This track is one of my top favs.

Very candid and wholesome interview. Taylor is a really down-to-earth and charismatic star. He is refreshing because he really loves performing and the musical style that he does. Soul music inpsired him, helped him in his young life, and now is carried on through his work. This is a top favorite of mine off his album (which was enjoyable all the way through) and I find it interesting that Bryan Adams wrote it. He's working on his new CD. It's supposed to be out in the fall. He also has a DVD that is supposed to come out some time soon. There's also a rumor that he may be performing on Idol, this month either May 14th or on the Finale the 21st. And his Idol stamps for Idol gives back come out next week too. :)

I wish he would have done that last note, before the last "yes indeed" on his album. It's weird to say, but for me it just added something different. lol. And it was the last note. But I love this song it's so great. I think this one with just him and the piano and harp is much better than the one with background singers. I hope he does his new album like this, stripped and clean, not over produced like before. Although I still like this album. I actually prefer is older stuff.
