  • The game is not really in slomo, it's just that the animations don't have that much frames.

Why buy C64 stuff while one can play games on a C64 emulator?

  • That's still awesome though! To think the NES and any other video game console out there got some of the worst Simpsons games imaginable... Konami actually tried porting the ONLY good Simpsons games ever made (The Simpsons The Arcade) on the C64 is actually kinda cool.

  • You keep saying to get the NES or SNES versions of this game but they don't even exist. Go back and edit out those parts where you say that otherwise you are forever branded a liar.

  • ... They make the one of the greatest beat-em ups in the world... and the only system they port it to... is a console weaker than the nes?

    ... MORONS.

  • @Jesterclown17 There's a DOS Version that wasn't too bad.

  • taking to the air is an awesome soundtrack.

  • There is no NES SNES and GENESIS port of this game. XBOX 360 Live should bring this game to the online marketplace like they did with X-MEN Arcade.

  • There's one great thing about this game: the variety of the graphics. Not many C64 games had this much stuff to look at.

  • lol probaly one my favorite arcade games

was never realeased for the snes or sega genesis

    but commodore 64 in '91

    wow

wonder if they did that for x-men too

  • This game looks cool. There is no SEGA version, there is no NINTENDO version. HAHAHA! Nice coverage though dude, you know yer c64!

  • As bad as it looks...and sounds like it plays.....

    THAT IS COOL!

I didnt know there were any ports of this game.....I spent many an hour playing this in the Arcade..and down at my local 7-eleven...lol

  • Yeah ya gotta love the old arcades

  • wait, there were home ports of this game?

  • IDK, all ive seen were for the PC and C64... but that would be cool if there was one for the nes, snes ,segas... If you know of any let us us know

  • well, i heard avgn say that no home port was made, who knows, maybe someone will make a homebrew game later on

  • Eventhough I'm a C64 fan, an old C64 user and never played this game, I think this is so bad. It's nothing like Bart vs Space Mutants. This game is like Target Renegade or TMHT Coin-Op game. Same idea, just hit and try to survive.

  • Yeah your right, it is the same as TMNT, as far as the arcade goes it used the same cabinet, motherboard and controls. All that was different were the rom IC's on the Mobo.... There are far better games on the C64 then this, thats for sure... but it is the simpsons which makes it cool anyways... lol

  • i had this game for the commodore 64 when i was just a kid i never liked it at all twas too difficult

  • Yeah I first saw this game on a school mates PC and the opening intro floored me back then lol.

  • I hear ya... its too bad the game graphics arent as good... I still think they could of done a way better job with this game... and its made by konomi which suprizes me... they always make quality stuff

  • Firsties! I love the actual arcade version but the C64 looks bearable for the time and the limitations of the home market. This game was never ported to the NES/SNES/Genesis to my knowledge. However, there was a DOS version which is much better. Good video!

  • Yeah your right about it not being ported over to the other systems... I was thinking about bart vs XX... those titles I guess is what I was thinking of... hehe... but it would of made a better port on those systems thats for sure... the one button thing sucks trying to play this game... Just like the double dragon port on the C64... one button kills the game play...

  • great video man theres a problem it never came out on home systems im really upset that its not ever on xbox live so if u own a xbox you can download the emulator for it

  • Did you already do a video on double dragon? My brother may have watched it but I haven't.

  • No I havent, but that would be kinda cool... That I actually have on a retail C64 disk... I bought that years ago.... maybe I'll do one on that here someday.. but like I said the controls suck on that too... the graphics arent half bad though...

  • It's surprising this game wasn't ported to the NES because it was a popular arcade game at the time!
