i just did that semi tetherd jailbreak with redsn0w and i have all kind of problems..

winterboard isnt working the way it did on 4.3.3 also i can't install lockscreen clock hide, if i do install it my ipod tourn direclty into save mode.. any tips?

will it get better when the untetherd comes out?

I have working phone, but after updating fully restore in Itune, I did jailbreak. Then, I installed the semitether pack and it ask to reboot right away when it done install, then it won't restart it self.

i dont know what happen, but when i install this on my ipod 4G, installous is missing or maybe removed, ive noticed this when i want to download something. and when i try to install it again (installous), cydia says "cannot comply".

need help here!

i'm running a tethered jailbreak on my iphone 4. if i reboot my iphone without using a computer to boot tether it, it will still boot up and allow me to use the iphone. i can't use cydia (it appears as a white icon) i can't use mail or safari, but i can use eveything else just fine. This semi-tether tweak does not open up any more options.

You said if you boot without tethering it will just go into boot loop etc etc, this is just not true at all

@kevcarspray When I did a jailbreak on mine and tried to boot it would go into the boot loop....got to be a nuisance so just restored to un-jailbreak and will wait for a full untethered version...I do miss my theme and 5 icon dock, 5 column though....

@tfdoke i've since un-jailbroke mine also, i'm waiting for an untethered. My ipod touch is jailbroken but my iphone needs to be reliable and fully operational so i'll have to wait for the untethered. The dev team seem to be struggling with this one, makes me think that apple may be close to eliminating jailbreakers........

This has a few problems but I really like where this is going. If this semi tethered is worked on alot more then it will just get better and a tethered jailbreak will be open to some more people. I am waiting to get a untethered jailbreak for my little brothers ios5 ipod touch 4.

If you have a 3GS I wiuldnt do it once I did it mine just kept rebooting every re time I got back it would kick me out in the reoot over and over I had to gu to iTunes and start all over and put iOS 5 back on my phone

@Harrison8209 actually he's using the iphone 4s but on ipod touch to get battery u go into sbsettings then press on more and scroll down until you see system options you press that then it should say battery percentage reply back if this helped
