Speaking of new attractions, rumor says that they plan on building a coaster which extends into the CityWalk of USO after the Harry Potter project is completed in IOA.

(The Harry Potter themed area is expected to be completed in 2009, I think.)

i rode this 2 weeks ago. AWESOME. me and my family agreed it was the best ride in orlando.

better than kraken or anything at busch gardens. although they are excellent. after a long wait we came off the ride totally amazed. it is as though you are in the cartoon. unbelievable as you dont wear 3d glasses. i wish i could ride it again. a real must if you visit orlando. hard to believe that we didn't travel more than a few feet on the ride.

The ride mechanism is the same one from the BTTF ride, except you are sitting in the simpsons car. It's a simulator. Same building, same screen, same car mechanics. They now play a movie that takes you through the KRUSTYLAND theme park and you go on the rides (simulator style). If you liked BTTF, this is the same thing.

I was just there yesterday. Looks like they still have a ways to go on the outside at least. I went in the Kwik-ee Mart and was a little disappointed they weren't selling the Krusty-O's and Squishies and all the other stuff they had during the 7-11 redo. Although they did have Duff Beer energy drinks and there was a Squishiee stand outside...they could have done a few little things to make it more unique instead of just another store.

We've lost classics like Ghostbusters and King Kong. Ghostbusters was replaced by a piece of shit like Twister which has long been forgotten, and King Kong was a great ride but was replaced BY SOMETHING WORTHY like a great franchise like The Mummy which still has new movies coming.
