I got the info from Dancesportinfo. The last result Val and Val had was placing 7th at Blackpool. They beat Andrey and Anna from Russia, Neil and his prev partner and Ekaterina with her prev partner, along with beating the Italian who beat him in all IDSF comps now, Nino Langello. Now he places under all these dancers with Dariya. He would have made finals with Val eventually. The only reason they make finals now is because of all the dancers who don't show up at UK open and Blackpool anymore.

he should have stayed with her. He would still be where he is. They didn't gain anything, just made the partners their with now better. They themselves gained nothing out of the split. Too bad though they worked perfect together.
@AceyBlade after splitting Valentin dropped in rankings at Blackpool and UK open, he then started getting coaching with Shirley Ballas and climbed back up in ranks, but the only reason they place so high in the British comps is because the Russians and the major Italian dancers don't do those comps any more.
wow! this was awesome! Val and Val RoCk!!! do you know their ranking as an amateur in the Latin ballroom world? like, are they ranked 1st or 2nd as an amateur in Latin ballroom?
I think they usually are ranked 2nd in the US in the amateur division, but now that the 1st ranked couple, Katsevman and Manusova, are turning pro.... I wouldn't be surprised if Val and Val take over as the amateur champions
They are such great dancers, to bad they don't dance together anymore.

Where are you getting this info from?
Valentin's first recorded competition with Dariya was UK Open 2009 where they placed better than Val ever did with Valeria.
Also, Valentin never made a world final with Valeria.
