  • did replacing the battery fix it?

  • @misiflick yes

  • The batteries that they used in the Macbook pro series is a serous hazard once they begin to bulge. When they do there is a buildup of flammable gases with in the battery and is how LiPalm (Lithium polymer) batteries fail, once they vent the gases can ignite resulting in a nasty chemical fire. :s

  • HOW DO I FIND OUT HOW MANY CYCLES MY MACBOOK LAPTOP HAS HAD??

WHAT DO I DO MY MACBOOK SAYS SERVICE BATTERY?!?

  • my macbook is from sumer 2006 it has 680 cycles!!!!! and has 98% health. original capacity was 5020 mAh and now its 4925 mAh. it says it has reached its 170% of life in battery health monitor.

  • So.... lets say that the life span of the battery of this piece of sh*t that cost us thousands of dollars when we baught it, it's life span is about 250 cycles? mine became FAT!!! man it BULGED!!!

  • Actually, any chemical product will have a limited lifespan, which is why your battery needs to be replaced roughyl every two years. It has nothing to do with the "thousands of dollars" you paid for your laptop.

  • I know it's lithium-Ion chemical crap! but... the battery problems that apple products suffered from were never near any other competitors, my macbook pro for instance, 95% of these laptops that were sold suffered from the obese battery problem! couldn't they put that battery into tests for couple of months before they sell it, NO! Steveee wants fast money!!!
