  • Me: Wow, is that guy really blind?

Dad: Yes, My Chemical Romance could learn something of that.

Me: Yes indeed. (Thinks: But still i like My Chemical Romance)

Dad: Do you need something, a pet rat or so?

  • Jeff Healey was fucking incredible!

I was also born in Toronto. Canada has many great musicians and bands, the world has only really seem a glimpse of us I think. So many great bands are from America and England and the few that are from Canada rock hard!

  • @ontariobuds Saw Jeff here in England 4 times in the 90's. When he stopped coming I always vowed when I retired I would travel to your fair city to see him. Sadly I will never get the chance, but I promise I will come one day to pay homage.

  • I hope you know this dude is blind lol that just is unbeleiveable

  • Jeff Rules !!!!!

  • by the grace of God, all the best guitarists wont be forgotten, cause we tend to use their style when we play the guitar

  • wow...i bought this his album in 1990 @ 15 or so when I was first having guitar lessons....so long ago now..he was just incredible!!! Bless you Jeff and wherever u are now, I bet u can see!!! Amazing man:-)

  • jesus christ! its ray charles on guitar x20. Man, this guys awesome! He's in the rock and roll hall of fame right? Man, i wish i could play like that

  • @angusyounghero No he's not in the R& R Hall. Shame too. they let faggots like Prince in with all the smoke and lights, but real music like this they tend to ignore because he didn't' sell a bajillion records. he single-handedly beats Clapton and Beck on guitar. His music was real and it still lives on. maybe some day the R&R Hall will open its eyes. I kinda doubt it though. It's all politics.

  • @angusyounghero i heard this song for the first time on the radio tonight, and i was sold.... i heard while i was working and i was like sold... WTF who is this guy??... I had heard of his name but didnt really know him, and i just found out he was blind... This guy is awesome he deserves a medal for this or something or at least in the hall of fame

  • @angusyounghero you're damn right about that

  • RIP... he was amazing

  • It's tough to capture Jeff, and this doesn't really do him justice, but it's still pretty incredible, and it does bring back memories.

I saw him the first time at the Misty Moon in Halifax on this tour. Would love to see footage, it was shot for MuchMusic.

  • RIP Jeff u alwayz rocks the socks off anyone who heard u!!! My guitar teacher many years ago turned me on to your music and holy heck you play like a man possessed...alwayz been a fan since 1990... u rock on buddy and don't eva stop cos I plan to be seein u in the next life xxx

  • god 1000*****************

  • Ever since he performed on the radio for Countdown Cafe in the Netherlands, I was amazed by the vitosity. Though he playes here very well, in my opinion it doesn't beat the Countdown Cafe performance. As a matter of fact I have not heard that ever again.

  • "virtuosity"

  • Ditto onebigski!

  • Was extremely dissapointed that this never made the top 100 guitar riffs in guitar magazine

  • guitar mag doesnt know what the hell they are talking about. he is one of the greats regardless. his contemporaries knew he was good. anyone with half an ear for good music would not deny him an awesome guitar player.

  • You're right 100% . This should have made top 100 guitar riffs of all time.

  • I saw Jeff Healy play in Regina about this time, and after the show my dad refused to believe he was blind. Made me even wonder.

  • Gone way to soon :(

  • This guy is blind.. and he is a legend ! :O!

  • Is he blind or it's just a style of playing? First time I hear about this guy and I really like the solo's there

  • he is blind.and he plays better than a lot of the guys today. he will be sorely missed by this fan.

  • IMPRESIONANTE!!!!!!!

    Gracias

  • hes from ontario canada. hes amazing love his songs there great

  • I saw this live in german TV! Jeff was the first guitarplayer of my genration who touched me. He was different to all the other guys, being hip at that time. He was a musician and not a poser. Because of that, his music will survive. I really miss him!

  • assieme a hendrix è il piu grande chittarista di tutti i tempi

  • Thanks for posting this video. RIP Jeff. He one of the greatest guitar player of all time.
