This is the most moving nature documentary I've ever seen. It gripped me so much, that I felt compelled to to donate via text to help lion conservation, as prompted at the end...and I'm one cheap SOB.
One cub gets killed by a crocodile, the second cub gets its back bone shattered, thus the mother abandons it. only the male cub survives, the mother joins the enemy pride. The end. Saved you some time.

Lions will probably become extinct outside zoos within the next 50-100 years, thus causing us to waste resources on their conservation when inevitable doom awaits. Lions have had their time in history. They are not fit to live on the planet in what it will become in the close future.

More encounters with humans will cause a greater amount of poaching to protect themselves and their livestock in addition to trophy hunting. This will only go one way. Humans will require more space as our population grows. Soon we will be 10 billion people on the planet and thats only the beginning. There is no way of reverse it.

Saw this on Nat Geo last night, and I must say it is one of the best movies I have EVER seen....The grace and rhythm which any "big cat" seems to so "Platonicly" exemplifiy is unparalleled by any species on the face of this planet-the only exception being birds... Absolutely amazing!

There is also the fact that there is freedom of speech for a reason, so we all have the right to express our opinions. However, basic coutesy and politeness should always be used, in person and on the internet, so why you think it is acceptable to say such a string of words without caring if it offends someone is appalling. You could express you anger in a way that wasn't abusive or offensive to anyone else. Or you could go talk to a friend or family memeber and express yourself that way- and that way you could hopefully ensure no-one else would be offended or insulted etc by what you are saying.

They'd eat her entirely. But that is not the point- the point is that we're messing with nature, and contary to popular belief, we're not the top predator. So we get eaten. Just because we learnt how to use fire and make shiny things called guns doesn't mean we have any right to go shooting anything we please, and I may be in the tiny minority, but no-one should kill an animal except for food, or in self defence- ie, it's about to kill you.
and, killing that many lions means at some later point, maybe a few hundred, maybe a few thousand years from now, the genetic diversity is going to get very small. If we keep killing them, that's going to speed up the problem.
Anyone who kills any animal except for food/self defence (which isn't hunting down a man eater, it's shooting it right as it's about to charge someone/as it's trying to kill them) ought to be shot themselves, as we have no right. And there's more people
It's amazing how some humans can complain of their struggles. Things like not being able to have a super nice house or a nice car. Animals, and even the people of Africa (and other 3rd world countries) have to struggle to survive and to keep their young alive. They will do whatever it takes. Saw this on Nat Geo last night, and I must say it is one of the best movies I have EVER seen....The grace and rhythm which any "big cat" seems to so "Platonicly" exemplifiy is unparalleled by any species on the face of this planet-the only exception being birds... Absolutely amazing!

i am no crybaby- and my feelings were not hurt by you- some random person off the internet could never say anything to hurt me, as I do not care what they think of me. However, basic coutesy and politeness should always be used, in person and on the internet, so why you think it is acceptable to say such a string of words without caring if it offends someone is appalling. And just confirms by belief that the majority of people now only care more about themselves than anyone else.

You could express you anger in a way that wasn't abusive or offensive to anyone else. Or you could go talk to a friend or family memeber and express yourself that way- and that way you could hopefully ensure no-one else would be offended or insulted etc by what you are saying.
Why not ignore your comment rather than respond? Simple- to express my opinion. But note I didn't swear once at you, despite being angry that you had just ruined my day by expressing such hateful comments.

I'm not saying that you can't express your opinion. Just that if you want to, and have to do it here in the comment section of this trailer, why can you not do it in a polite manner, rather than swearing? They'd eat her entirely. But that is not the point- the point is that we're messing with nature, and contary to popular belief, we're not the top predator. So we get eaten. Just because we learnt how to use fire and make shiny things called guns doesn't mean we have any right to go shooting anything we please, and I may be in the tiny minority, but no-one should kill an animal except for food, or in self defence- ie, it's about to kill you.

and, killing that many lions means at some later point, maybe a few hundred, maybe a few thousand years from now, the genetic diversity is going to get very small. If we keep killing them, that's going to speed up the problem.
Anyone who kills any animal except for food/self defence (which isn't hunting down a man eater, it's shooting it right as it's about to charge someone/as it's trying to kill them) ought to be shot themselves, as we have no right. And there's more people

It's amazing how some humans can complain of their struggles. Things like not being able to have a super nice house or a nice car. Animals, and even the people of Africa (and other 3rd world countries) have to struggle to survive and to keep their young alive. They will do whatever it takes. It's truly amazing and makes me appreciate how good I have it in my little apt.
