I'm doing a documentary on this for my media project. Yes the old library will be demolished to make way for a new footpath between victorica and centinary squares.

Mike Whitby needs a new word instead of modernity.

He means Contemporary. These are two very different words. Modern architecture is what Birmingham seems keen to demolish.
