  • just discovered this song. Heard it at lunch the other day and finally tracked it down. Have to have it! :)

  • I'm really glad Evan even takes the time to talk to us in here and tell us all the stuff he remembers...

  • ...And all the girls start screaming

  • I love Nic's energy in all the performances!

  • fabulous 90's band..

Evan Dando even graced the cover of Rolling Stones magazine..once or twice I think.

he was so big back then.

  • Evan can you tell me who handles your booking?

  • It must get tiring being called a heart-throb all the time!

  • you got that right - luckily i am out of that game

  • sorry but you're still a babe, evan.

  • lip sync?!

  • nah, I think the vocals were live. There must have been a music track that was playing as seen when they release the confetti stuff.

  • One of those timeless choons that can crush a band with the weight of expectations of what's to come. Up there with There She Goes - The La's, That's Entertainment - The Jam, Do You Realize?? - The Flaming Lips and Waterfall - The Stone Roses. Classic.

  • it's just the old feed see also rgb meaning original television feed reels red, blue, green schema also pixel distortion sucks but sigh alas

  • evan looks tired on this 1.

  • for sure - you are correct- at least it was live

  • Dear Evan,

What's the best Lemonheads album for a beginner to start with?

    Regards,

    Beginner to Lemonheads

  • i guess 'it's a shame about ray ' or the european best of with 19 songs (the american one is crap )

  • Awesome! Which album is Into Your Arms on?

  • "Come On Feel" the Lemonheads

  • @pelicanmouse Hey Evan. I bought Car Button Cloth and The Lemonheads' self-titled album. They're both pretty cool. I prefer the sped-up live version of If I Could Talk though. :)

  • Fun Fact - I had a ( drug induced ) "moment of clarity" - just prior to the performance -something about "money is the root of all evil" , chopped up my whole wallet including like 200 u.s. dollars and 400 german marks into confetti - that's what we throw ...

  • hahaha, thanks for the laugh evan! nice performance btw, I can tell your voice wasnt 100% at that moment though.

  • how are you doing now?

  • @sallie46 good

  • @pelicanmouse what happened to your band ?

  • @pelicanmouse wtf - really? lol that's funny!

  • @robfilardo it was fun

  • @pelicanmouse i wanna have u and nic dalton do me anyway u want....

  • @pelicanmouse I made a collage out of that wallet!

  • @pelicanmouse ( drug induced ) "moment of clarity" love it :)

  • @pelicanmouse That line is "For the love of money is the root of all evil" from the Book of Timothy.

Which has a TOTALLY DIFFERENT MEANING from the woefully misquoted version you gave.

  • @jessicafischerqueen sorry and thank you for clearing that up .

  • Dude - It was called top of the pops . In the 60's & 70's it

was ALL MIMED . By the time we started doing it ( '92 ) they let

Dude - It's a BBC show called top of the pops - in the 60's

and 70's everyone had to mime along to their records . By the time we started doing the show('92) the deal was- live singing / canned music ...

  • My thoughts exactly. I don't think there is one. I think he's lip sync'd. I'm a guitar player and the singer was strumming when no guitar was playing...

  • where's the lead guitar player?

  • I love this song! :D

    Great!
