We had this show on Start TV in India. I must admit, it was gem of a TV show. I really liked this show and I still do. I even liked the songs in this show. Kavin/ WInnie/Paul rocked.

I was under impression that this was made in late sixties, but recently I came to know that it was late eighties production.

Great script, great narration. Adult Kavin's voice was equally important in it's success and whole family feel for this drama was another factor (in my mind) in it's success.

i disagree. i must admit, having Kevin and Winnie end up together would have been great - as it gives the audience what they want (which is often an escape from reality), it (the show) did not succumb to that pressure and kept true to offering realistic depictions of life - as real as tv is able to exemplify that is.

nonetheless, even though not a real life relationship, still breaks my heart that they did not end up together... just goes to show the frailty of the human condition.

If they do release it to DVD it won't be with the original music. They never paid for the music rights according to what Danica McKellar said on Facebook. Now she recently said it's now on Netflix with different music which sucks! It won't be the same!!!

The reason you can't find this on DVD is because they won't let them use the songs on the soundtracks. If you paid for the music rights the DVD would be so expensive nobody would buy it. Thats why some of the music is missing or changed in reruns of WKRP in Cincinatti.

i loved all the episodes but some of my favorites was the one when kevin and his dad built the tree house and saw the neighbor who lived there. another one was the one when wayne, kevin ant the father (jack) go on the fishing trip. how about the one when kevins grandfather gives him the puppy (buster). just to name a few.

this is the best show ever made. i always hated winnie cooper though. i couldn't believe kevin prefered winnie over wendoline. she was the girl that kevin had for french class and home ec. all the songs on the show were verry well selected by the people who made the show. i can relate with a lot of what kevin went trough and thats one of the reasons why i loved the show.

Well, in some seasons, Winnie became a little taller for a bit. Also, they were the same age, but if you notice...some camera angles i chose from first season shoot slightly down at Kevin or more often up to Winnie. Kevin did put her up on a pedestal if you know what I mean, and some of the camera angles represent this idea....kinda making her look older...especially after dropping her new "winnie image" rather than Gwendaline.
