Actually... I think the tricks themselves were actually easy but i couldnt name the drop from hipkey *my teacher and her aerial company call it hipkey but i dont know if you may call it something else but i am referring to the fan kick w/ the tissu* what do you call that drop?
You are wonderful! Thanks for all the inspiration. I have seldom seen silks performed so gracefully and beautiful... I´m on my way to practise now thanks to you. :)
Wow. I'm speechless. I have been doing silk for more than a year now, and I recognize and practice all of the poses and drops there, and you can see that even though they range from easy to medium level tricks, the ability that the girl used throughout them is of a professional. The technique is awesome. An inspiration, really.
stunning, that was so beautiful and you made it look so effortless. You emoted so well and the music was a great compliment to your style of movement.
wow everybody! i am just floored by all the positive responses... thank you!!! i had been doing silks about a year when i started to choreograph this routine. i promise the final result is even better! i performed it with the song being played live, which i think added a whole other layer to the piece. I'll get a video of that up here soon.... :)
I'm no silks expert or anything and I think it's an amazing talent no matter how hard the tricks are. I'm a ballet dancer though and I have an exreme appreciation for performers who pay attention to musicality.....might I say your routine was by far the most enjoyable silks routine to watch. I loved the emotion you held throughout the difficult tricks. Some silks performers hold that emotion and then during their climbs loose the audience...to be honest I didn't even notice your climbs. GREAT!
This is quite possibly one of the best silks routine I've seen. I started studying silks about 2 months ago and I'm amazed by your work! Keep it up :)
It is very nice to see someone concentrat on the emotional response to the music during a silks routine. I love the sentiment. you are very dramatic out there. I only wish that I could feel strong enough to do all that on silks.
How long have you been doing this? I just had my 3rd class... I'm hooked. Buying silks this week. I would love any feedback or info from your expertise :)
Beautiful.Perfect music - and the routine expressed it perfectly. Also (as posted by someone else) very inspiring to me as I prepare for my first aerial tissu routine.
The climbing at the beginning was a cool way to climb.
