This originally wasn't a nintendo game. I can't remember what system it came out on first or if it might have been an arcade game, but this game really is a great game if your into a puzzle solver RPG. You get a great sense of accomplishment after completing the stages. As for me, I never could finish it as a child, but me and my dad did make it to the dragon. Thanks to Youtube I was finally able to see the ending.

@MarchingMachine Yeah the editing is deceiving. We did Fire Protection then Amulet. It still doesn't do it. I watched a video on how to beat him. It's bullshit. You have to not read the amulet, then another wizard shows up, you dodge his shit, let him take the amulet, dodge more shit, then take it back from him, and then the dragon kills him. Very dumb.

What I find most fascinating is how when developers are making these kinds of games, at some point in the process, someone has to have had the idea that you should die after only one hit and have to restart literally everything over right from the beginning, and everyone else working on the project agrees that that's an awesome idea. It's as though these people have never actually played a game before in their life.
