I'm guessing the idea was entirely generated from within versus being developed from outer influences. However, I think it's very difficult to truly have an idea that wasn't influenced from one's environment. I have met artists who intentionally don't study other artists to keep from straying from their own vision. It would be interesting to live in a cabin for ten years without tv, etc. and see what kind of work is produced.
Finally, a designer in my hometown of Brooklyn! Went to school in Park Slope--with the F train! Thanks for the yam idea--I wonder if that works for scrapbooking?

I remember doing vegetable printing with slices of ladies finger and potato on hand made paper to make cards! Sure looks cool!
