When I first played KoTOR and received my lightsaber after a few hours, and minimal training...well I sort of felt like Luke Skywalker. To me, that was pretty damn cool. This Gnost-Deral says that the Sith Emperor commanded both Revan and Malak to prepare for his return, and find the Star Forge, but in KotOR, your vision explains that they discovered the first Star Map on Dantooine, BEFORE the Mandalorian Wars. Malak says, "The Order will surely banish us."
Kreia also explains Revan's intentions for the Republic, that he was attempting to protect it from the True Sith. Now he's aiding them? Bioware, you can't change the plot. This is crap.
@ultimatekotorfan You have to remember that this is a Jedi Chronicle of what happened and Kreia never explains Revan's intentions to the Jedi, even if she did, why would they trust her? So as far as the Jedi historians were concerned, this is what happened.

@saracaly0409 Bioware is aware of the plot. They know what Obsidian created. If Malak had already met the Sith Emperor and took his commands, he wouldn't have worried about banishment from the Order. @ultimatekotorfan KoTOR3 would have been nice, but honestly after spending years following this game, I honestly think KoTOR3 would have been too limited, what they are doing with this game is nothing but expanding the KoTOR series as well as the MMO market. Which I find fantastic. I love the idea of playing KoTOR with my friends. Plus this is going to be KoTOR 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 +. One class has as much story and content as 4 Kotor games. what's not to love about that?
@Gthang213 I'm all for expanding the MMO market, (though I hate MMO's myself) but this series won't be KotOR 345 etc. KotOR was based on the story of Revan and the Exile. Aren't you the least bit disappointed that you won't be able to walk in the shoes of the most interesting Star Wars character to confront the Sith'ari? All we'll be getting as penance is a sidequest. I bet Revan will end up being a Sith zombie that you'll have to fight. I can't stand that idea.

But as to discovering the fate of Revan, There is no way they are going to ruin his character by making him a "Sith Zombie". Revan is their baby. Plus Drew Karpyshan is one of the writers for the game, who was also the lead writer for KoTOR. Plus Drew announced that he is writing a book about Revan and what happened to him told from Revans perspective
@Gthang213 The book sounds interesting. I'll definitely buy it. But Revan has become less of the TOR team's BABY as illegitimate child they had with their housekeeper. They'll bring him back into the picture, but it'll all feel like repentance. Like they're making up for not finishing KotOR 3. @ultimatekotorfan I disagree, you still have alot of people from the development team of Kotor, James Ohlen, the lead director (who is also the lead director of TOR) and Drew Karpyshan as i stated earlier, really care about what happens to Revan, that is one of the reasons why didn't want to do Kotor 2. They didn't want to mess up what they created. Also they can't mess up not finishing Kotor 3 if kotor 3 was never considered a possibility. Again we don't know what happens to Revan, hav faith
@Gthang213 They had concept art and teams working in animations. They were about halfway into the game when LucasArts ran out of funds and filed for bankruptcy. After they got back on their feet, they for some reason called it quits on the KotOR project.

From what I heard about Star Wars history, True Sith Empire fell around 1000 years before Revan and Malak, with its last emperors Ludo Kresh and Naga Sadow. After Old Republic won over True Sith on Korriban (Sith native world) Naga Sadow who surived under unexplained circumstances gone to the Unknown Regions where he probably seduce population with his Dark Side magic and start to rise his new empire, but True Sith race (red skin humans) doesnt exist since then, only followers of their teaching.
Revan was trying to save the Republic by assimilating it into his own empirem that's what the narrataro meant by "Revan's own ambitions". Malak, however, screwed things up...
@Rikvdpol Well if you get the PC version of KotOR you can download the mod Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge, it is a huge update to the game that add's in most of Revan's early years, like leaving to join the war and the final battle with Mandalor, as well as many other things.
No it isn't.in KOTOR you play Revan AFTER he has been caught by the Jedi Council and had his memory removed. I was talking about when he first fell to the Dark Side. Playing him in the mandalorian wars and find out what he found. Because of what he found he became the Dark Lord. Some rumors indicate that he became the Dark Lord in order to protect the galaxy from an even bigger threat.
well some ppl suggest that star forge could destroy worlds. and that the sith emperor's original plans were to destroy the rest of the galaxy that wasnt in the unknown regions. so he stepped in and acted as the new dark lord. destroyed the old sith hierarchy and started the 'two' system to keep ppl around him in low authority. with his power he didnt destroy the core galaxy, but set forth a chain of events that would get him captured and converted back.
Is that game a mod? I have never seen it in the stores. But you're right about Revan. He did became the Dark Lord in order to save the galaxy. If I remember correctly Kreia said something like that. Even if he didn't Revan is still too awesome and I would've rather had another KOTOR game then TOR. But im not giving up hope.
I remember reading a comment somewhere about a rumor stating that the exile did find Revan and both tried to defeat the Sith Emperor, but at being supremely overwhelmed, they retreated and froze themselves in carbonite (telling HK-47 to guard them and T3-M4 to build a droid army in reserve). Their goal was to be woken when the Sith showed themselves and then aid the Republic, with them (Revan, The Exile, T3-M4, and HK-47) and a massive droid army behind their backs. That would be awesome! :O

Actually everyone went against each other in Kotor and KotorII,as the emperor's plan was but revan returned to the light side and he destroyed his own empire.Then he went to fight the emperor(the leader of the true sith) and after the exile helped the republic and destroyed the sith triumvirate(remnants of revan's sith empire),he followed revan,but they never returned,and the true sith stroke after 300 years.

Ugh, Idk about everybody else but for me, they kinda ruined Revan. I mean, couldn't they have gone a little bit more with Kreia's insights of Revan. She made him look like a strategic badass, stating that Revan never *truly* gave in to the dark side (he just used it as a guise for his plans). That he met something in the outer regions and decided the dark side and the star forge were the best way to meet the threat. That he left key pieces of infrastructure intact. This is wrong isn't it? I was lead to believe Revan left republic bases and weapons intact in order to counter the sith emperor's coming attack, which is why he took jedi alive and turned them to his side.

What they are saying is Revan was originally sent by the emperor to find the Star Forge to prepare for the sith return. But if you listen closely to the video he says "The closer they got to the star forge the more BOTH SITH LORDS had images of their own empire" meaning both Revan and Malek begin thinking about betraying the emperor before they found the star forge
Once they found the star forge Revan decided to take his ambitions for their own Empire and began to leave republic bases and weapons in tact so they will be ready for the Sith to return then he could have his own empire. But then Malek became ambitions too fast and turned on Revan. So it doesn't break from the original story line they are just adding a new layer to what we already know about Revan and Malek
He could simply be talking about bastilla as a Master out of respect because she does become a Master later on like calling a president by their title when you are talking about them before they actually become president

And neither Revan nor the Exile are going to be in The Old Republic, mostly because Obsidian and BioWare have both stated they still want a crack at an actual KotoR III and because neither one of them would have survived for 300 years.

It happened the same thing what it happened be4 Jedi Civil War, he got corrupted by this emperor and went to capture the other jedi intruder (Jedi Exile) and corrupted her too and now they'll appear in SWTOR as pawns to the emperor.

@vreeland17, heres what I think happend, I think Revan Fought the Emperor alone the first time, but was beaten because the Emperor cheats using his Sith. He captures Revan in his fortress. Exile comes along and frees him, then they have a big epic fight against the Emperor and a whole mess of Sith. Revan and Exile combined there power and end up blowing everything to shit. The Emperor just bearly servives the explosion, and finds Revan and Exile dead in the rabble.

Revan was redememed through his love for Bastila shan, Satele shan is their descendant.

@Rikvdpol Well if you get the PC version of KotOR you can download the mod Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge, it is a huge update to the game that add's in most of Revan's early years, like leaving to join the war and the final battle with Mandalor, as well as many other things.

No it isn't.in KOTOR you play Revan AFTER he has been caught by the Jedi Council and had his memory removed. I was talking about when he first fell to the Dark Side. Playing him in the mandalorian wars and find out what he found. Because of what he found he became the Dark Lord. Some rumors indicate that he became the Dark Lord in order to protect the galaxy from an even bigger threat.

well some ppl suggest that star forge could destroy worlds. and that the sith emperor's original plans were to destroy the rest of the galaxy that wasnt in the unknown regions. so he stepped in and acted as the new dark lord. destroyed the old sith hierarchy and started the 'two' system to keep ppl around him in low authority. with his power he didnt destroy the core galaxy, but set forth a chain of events that would get him captured and converted back.

Even if he didn't Revan is still too awesome and I would've rather had another KOTOR game then TOR. But im not giving up hope.

I remember reading a comment somewhere about a rumor stating that the exile did find Revan and both tried to defeat the Sith Emperor, but at being supremely overwhelmed, they retreated and froze themselves in carbonite (telling HK-47 to guard them and T3-M4 to build a droid army in reserve). Their goal was to be woken when the Sith showed themselves and then aid the Republic, with them (Revan, The Exile, T3-M4, and HK-47) and a massive droid army behind their backs. That would be awesome! :O

Actually everyone went against each other in Kotor and KotorII,as the emperor's plan was but revan returned to the light side and he destroyed his own empire.Then he went to fight the emperor(the leader of the true sith) and after the exile helped the republic and destroyed the sith triumvirate(remnants of revan's sith empire),he followed revan,but they never returned,and the true sith stroke after 300 years.

well if the sith emeror tried to use revan to destroy the republic, he kinda won, we all remember from kotor 2 the republic was bankrupted,losing worlds,trading with criminals,jedi being wiped out,world's life consumed,sith assassnations, & goto acutally said the sith won the jedi civil war, becuase of all reasons above.

@Exile499 u are right, from a point of view, i was kinda dissapointed with kotor 2, cuz of the story, it felt like another game, not a continuation from kotor 1, the emperor did not won i think, cuz hes plan was with revan and malak 2gether not betrayn' one another, if u understand , and after revan killed malak, i think he went after the emperor to, maybe that is why we have not heard of him in kotor 2, still we need to find out more haha....

Ugh, Idk about everybody else but for me, they kinda ruined Revan. I mean, couldn't they have gone a little bit more with Kreia's insights of Revan. She made him look like a strategic badass, stating that Revan never *truly* gave in to the dark side (he just used it as a guise for his plans). That he met something in the outer regions and decided the dark side and the star forge were the best way to meet the threat. That he left key pieces of infrastructure intact. Not liking TOR at ALL >:(

This is wrong isn't it? I was lead to believe Revan left republic bases and weapons intact in order to counter the sith emperor's coming attack, which is why he took jedi alive and turned them to his side.

What they are saying is Revan was originally sent by the emperor to find the Star Forge to prepare for the sith return. But if you listen closely to the video he says "The closer they got to the star forge the more BOTH SITH LORDS had images of their own empire" meaning both Revan and Malek begin thinking about betraying the emperor before they found the star forge

Once they found the star forge Revan decided to take his ambitions for their own Empire and began to leave republic bases and weapons in tact so they will be ready for the Sith to return then he could have his own empire. But then Malek became ambitions too fast and turned on Revan. So it doesn't break from the original story line they are just adding a new layer to what we already know about Revan and Malek

And neither Revan nor the Exile are going to be in The Old Republic, mostly because Obsidian and BioWare have both stated they still want a crack at an actual KotoR III and because neither one of them would have survived for 300 years.

Anyway I think I kinda know what happened to Revan after he went chasing this emperor. It happened the same thing what it happened be4 Jedi Civil War, he got corrupted by this emperor and went to capture the other jedi intruder (Jedi Exile) and corrupted her too and now they'll appear in SWTOR as pawns to the emperor.

Why would the emperor expand their lives if they went to stop them. even if you believe revan fell back into the dark side. I highly doubt that the emperor would trust revan to be loyal to him after the last time. You don't live to be over 1,400 years by being stupid with those you call your followers lol

@vreeland17, heres what I think happend, I think Revan Fought the Emperor alone the first time, but was beaten because the Emperor cheats using his Sith. He captures Revan in his fortress. Exile comes along and frees him, then they have a big epic fight against the Emperor and a whole mess of Sith. Revan and Exile combined there power and end up blowing everything to shit. The Emperor just bearly servives the explosion, and finds Revan and Exile dead in the rabble.
