  • randy blythe? clean vocals? WTF!?!? did the universe implode on itself!?!?! i have to give em props though... goin on 20 years of the same style(which never got old at all) but it was ballsy to try something theyve absolutely never done before... i was fuckin blown away! top marks in my book!!! LOG simply can not fuck up! XP

  • i dont think its Randy's cleans that make me not like this song as much i think its the guitars for some reason sounding almost alternative/punky??? idk though at the chorus its just too accessible for radio or emo friendly. Band still kicks ass of course but they shouldnt do more shit like this

  • @theguy782 I think it's sounding lot more like alot of progressive bands

  • @UkrRusSlavic yea i can hear that to a degree, that makes sense

  • randy shouldnt do cleans more often, it would change lamb of god, im not saying his voice isnt awesome in this song, but its the pure power of randy's heavy voice that makes lamb of god what it is, if he started doing more clean vocals it wouldnt be the lamb of god we all love

  • Fuck Randy doing clean's! sounds good though but diffrent :/

  • sounds a bit .. different

  • guise who fucking has his fucking autograph XD :D

  • I don't like clean vocals specially on this kind of music. But Randy's voice is just fucking awesome and he managed to make it sound even more badass on this song.

  • Randy should do cleans more often.

  • Randy's voice....is fucking amazing ..

  • LAMB OF GOD BESTEST BAND EVER

  • /watch?v=BIxNneTqkCc < STUDIO VERSION

  • @DumbThingsMakeSense I hope you get raped by a bunch of "Soulja boys" asshole.

  • walk with me in hell-like intro

  • Un-FUCKING-real band, cannot wait to see these guys live!!!!! LAMB OF GOD!!!

  • great album, im buying it as soon as its out..to people complaining cause it sounds different..you should get over it, why would you want to hear the same album every release..bands evolve

  • Why has log never done clean vocals before?!?!?!? This is so amazing. I just find myself hitting replay on it all the time. You gotta love the catchy beginning cleans then it just goes into epic heavy-ness that log is known for. Great song

  • @3675n MAybe Randy wasn't confortable with his "clean" voice. If's thats the case we are listening to a new whole LOG level. O.O

  • You people make me laugh so hard!! Not impressed with LoG's new sound?? (Like it's THAT different). What, cuz they've finally MASTERED diversity and use of different sounds to complete their songs?

Randy's been fucken screaming his goddamn heart out for you guys for 13 years and because he does ONE verse with clean vocals (EPIC, clean vocals...) you're all pissed??

Imo, this is Lamb of God's best work. I have all their albums. I am a die hard fan of theirs. This is just sheer genius. Period.

  • PS the portion of Mortons solo from 3.29 feels like my pubes are being wrenched out!!!

  • This album is the pinnacle of their career so far. Diverse, brutal, melodic, fast, slow.......it's ridiculously hard not to listen to this album right now!

  • 1:00 to 1:12 Randy's scream gives me chills.

  • man that one guy at school who keeps calling these guys metalcore is going to have a fucking field day with this song :(

  • @TheProfitOfProphets Punch them in the face. Hard. Tell him it was from Lamb of God's fan base, \(-_-

  • @TheProfitOfProphets what are u talking about this song iz amayzinggggg LoG 4 lyfee! in case u didnt notice that was a joke making fun of the other people on here who dont realize this isnt the lamb of god they used to be

  • @ropisfun it's not that bad really, and the rest of the album is still awesome. Just, genericness with the use of clean vocals. If they used it with one of those odd time progressivish heavy parts it would have sounded alot better

  • Lamb of God , Amon Amarth and Fear Factory need a tour.. That would just blow my brains away

  • What you are not sure of. They are far beyond Amon and are each multi millionaires at this point. Trust me, my inside knowledge is waaayy better than yours

  • @ropisfun don't be so quick to guarantee wha

  • Have ALL of LoGs songs (even those from when they were Burn The Priest) and I have to say this album is a piece of fuckin work. Love it.

  • 10 tracks in and still not impressed. This makes me wanna listen to blood junkie

  • Every band has one album that just doesnt cut it. this to me is that album for lamb of god. sure they are showing some skill but....this is just that album. I still am a lamb fan till i die but, I not diggin this album at all....

  • @littleredwagonEP Not even King Me? I thought the same when I first heard it but I gave it another shot. As a fellow LoG fan, try this: put it on some big ass headphones, and listen to it completely in the dark. Worked for me. :D

  • @reticentjester There are a few songs I like, King me being one of them. To the end and Ghost walking. are my favorites from the album as of right now. Im going to re listen to the songs over and over till I get used to them. Seems to me lamb of god was trying to push the envelope to much and kinda rushed this album. They are still the kings of metal and have earned it. and resolution may draw a new crowd to them. This album will have its own special place in the bands history. LOG for life!!!!

  • I challenge anyone who says this is just as good or better, to go listen to the songs Hourglass or The Faded Line (both LoG songs for those who don't know) and come back to this one and dare compare them with a straight face.

  • and this is the most average song on the album many better than this

  • im trying to figure out if that is randy singing clean vocals at the beggining. hope it is that would be awesome

  • dont get me wrong i love lamb of god, but by the sound of this song, theyre just a few steps from being on the radio and mtv. the chorus sounds pretty mainstream and the intro with the clean singing could pass for Korn or a slightly heavier Godsmack

  • @ropisfun couldnt agree more with you. Im a huge LOG fan. but this isnt the lamb of god I know...

  • @littleredwagonEP yeah hopefully this is like sacrament and just a one time thing, maybe the next album will be this album's "Wrath" to show that they can still make good metal.

  • @ropisfun don't worry, this is the only track on the album with clean vocals and that kind of chorus. go listen to the rest of the tracks, you'll see. and just for the record, i fucking loved this song

  • @ropisfun I totally agree, the rest of the songs kinda sound like food for the screamokids to. It's just the fact that it still is good music that I am listening to them. But they are becoming more mainstream.

  • @311Rattlehead wtf they becoming mainstream so you are putting them with the fag band trivium go fk yourself listen the album more than once a real LOG fan wouldnt say stupid shit like that u sound more like a troll than anything.

  • @Stoksie01 lmao a "real LOG fan" u misspelled fanboy, the difference is a fan likes something but can see if theres bad parts, a fanboy (you) thinks no matter what, just cus its LOG its good no question. just cus its LOG doesnt mean its gonna be the best, if they started playing smooth jazz i dont have to think its good just cus im a LOG fan.

  • @ropisfun just so you know someone on youtube did a smooth jazz version of a couple of LOG songs and they actually sound pretty good

  • @jaidonnn I heard them but you're missing the point if you agree with that guy lol

  • @Stoksie01

Compare Ashes of the Wake and this album and hear the truth.

  • @311Rattlehead took the words right out of my mouth, couldnt put my finger on the sound but catering to the screamo kids is exactly the sound i hear

  • @ropisfun I think of all the bands out there right now, Lamb of God is one of the only ones that don't have to cater to anyone bro. They're all multi-millionaires at this point.

  • @reticentjester I think you may be very unfamiliar with how much money metal bands make. i can guarantee you that they aren't millionaires. You know that popular band Amon Amarth? Yeah one of the biggest death metal bands, they just recently since the past few years were able to not have second jobs in their off time. So id check your facts if I were you. Also, I didn't mean like they were trying to get popular, I was saying it sounds much like a screamo band.

  • @ropisfun I hate to be the devils advocate here, but you're aware that Amon Amarth hasn't reached a fraction of the success Lamb of God has seen right? Headlining 18 month global tours, having music featured in video games, tens of thousands of records sold their opening week, as well as tour DVD's, etc. As a musician I'm well aware of how much we don't make, but Lamb of God haven't had second jobs for about 10 years now.

  • @reticentjester I'm not saying that Amon Amarth and LoG have the same amount of success I was just putting it into perspective. But if you would kindly refer to this quote "I'm not particularly worried about getting rich, that's not why I do this. I make a good living, a lot of people don't. I'm not a millionaire, but I'm quite comfortable now after 16 years of being in this band.". Googled "are lamb of god millionaires?" that was the second link, see for yourself.

  • @ropisfun ah c'mon! It's quite original of LoG FINALLY to use clean vocals in their songs, also it's only the first verse that's sung clearly. I think this is beside 'King Me', 'Desolation' and 'Ghost Walking' the best song!

  • @Smngtr it would be pretty original of them to do a rap album too, u gotta realize that just cus something is new and different doesnt make it good or better. if anything i prefer good bands to stay consistant so they dont get my hopes up for an album then disappoint me like this. and i know theyre not writing it for me and all that im just saying id be much happier with more of a lamb of god sound in my lamb of god.

  • dude the clean singing reminds me of a more metal CKY

  • clean vocal sounds like former lead singer in kamelot , roy khan

  • What a brilliant fucking song, this is what LOG are all about..

  • Once again a ''what 'metal is' lesson'' by log x)

  • Yes it is randy.but singing clean.

Every fucking time i replay the songs from log they sound even better. LOG is pure genious. fucking masterpiece!!!

  • that ain't Randy singing right? or is it?

  • Hands down the best track on the album

  • @maggot10c Couldn't agree more. Just this song will make me buy the album

  • @maggot10c

Randy sings really awesome (considering he's almost never uses his vocal folds)

  • @maggot10c There is no song thats better than the other, all are equally good imo.

  • @maggot10c hardly
