Hey, have you ever thought of building a smelter/foundry to melt aluminum and cast it? That way you could make a piece from wood and just sand cast however many aluminum duplicates of that part you want! I'm going to collect parts for a coal furnace today. Nice geo-dome by the way! You shouldn't touch halogen bulbs because the grease on the glass let's it heat up more and burn up faster.

Yea... In some extreme cases they can actually heat up so much that the glass begins to bubble and the bulb explodes.

Crazy idea: You could build some kind of simple stirling engine to use heat for the reactor core to generate some electricity. You know, 'cause you don't have enough stuff to do already ;-)
