it's because he's grown up in fuckin ITALY!! apparently he hasn't spoken a lot of english with his parents/canadian family. and also in a lot of european places (france, spain, italy, etc) it's customary to kiss people upon leaving.

Wow! you really lost the English language didnt you? so you spoke ONLY english until you were about 5 years old? You didnt speak with your mother in English at home? FOr example my brother arrived in the US when he was 6, but he never forgot spanish because he spoke it at home. Maybe you should speak with your mother and practice

Sounds European to me. No Canadian in there. Sorry but I think the only way you can learn to speak English more fluently is by spending time in an English-speaking country.
