@vadess40 When I first played the game, it was on my Mac, and luckily, all the movies were in Quicktime format and that made it easy to import into iMovie. Hope this helps!

@Truexel Actually, Lucas (Thank goodness) had nothing to do with this game. Bioware pretty much did it all, and, imo, made a game far superior from anything Lucasarts could've hope'd to make.

after i got Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy i promised myself i wouldn't get another SW title having felt like i outgrew my love to that brand

until a buddy of mine told me of that title after 2 years i "evaded" it because i happened to LOVE Bioware's brands of Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights so you may say that's the only SW game i didn't get BECAUSE of SW. if anything - it's one of Bioware's finest ever, and i owe my friend a lot for not missing it!!

@ABhaim I don't think you outgrew it, I think those games weren't worthy of a fan's love. I'll be honest, when I first heard of the game, I was NOT into RPG's so didn't even try it until it came out later for the Mac. Once I played the first few minutes, I never looked back. Keep any eye you, I'm going to be making an HD version of this walkthrough soon.

hermm... here if you are a female you can kiss Carth if you do a male you can kiss Bastila. But there are no diferences in the party.

Yeah, it's definitely an opinion thing. The first KotOR for me has the classic, magical, fairytale-like feel that the original Star Wars trilogy had. I (naturally) played it before K2, so it had an impact-advantage. But the mood, the ambience, the characters, the story, the music - well, just everything in the first KotOR creates a truly transcendent experience. It has a unique place in my heart that nothing can really compare to. K2 is a good game, but K1 is a world of its own for me.

I f*****g get chills everytime I start this game, since the music that plays during the awakening (well actually both awakenings, Endar Spire & Taris) is so powerful and moving. I'm sorry to say, but the sequel to this game (Kotor 2: The Sith Lords) didn't have one single scene that would've moved me as much as alone the opening sequences of this game.

I played this on my mac and used a screen capture program called 'iShowU' to get the footage, which I then imported and edited using iMovie.

Yeah, the movies aren't shown through Directx (which is what FRAPS uses to record), but are actual movie files. You'd have to convert and edit the movies if you were going to make some vids. Hope this helps?

Before, I was weak... I thought Revan could only be man. But you know what? Why would Bioware make a Starwars game where you could choose your gender but people keep saying that he\she should be he\she. Revan is whoever you want him to be. One Revan could be a ruthless male sith lord,while another could be a female jedi guardian. George Lucas said that the canonical version of KOTOR is male. And the canonical version of TSL is female. You can play it that way or the your own way. YOUR choice.
