Also, you can only use any abilities if it's an NPC.

Also, many NPCs are immune to mind control. And it only works on humanoids.

Also, it generally wears off very fast and leaves you with an angry mob.

You see, there are these things called types of spells. Heal is a holy spell, mind control is a shadow spell. While holy priests can CAST mind control, it is not the spells holy priests usualy use. I can type slower if you want?

I use mind control rarely for a few reasons:

1:I dont PvP much

2:CC against humanoids sort of puts me out while other CC methods from other classes are better

3:It doesnt work on ny other mob type

4:I prefer to use healing so mind control could get a dungeon wipe if Im not careful.
