The coats were for the purpose of protecting Adam and Eve from being instantly killed by God. This also allowed them to continue "living". It was not a "redemption" covenant of any sort, although, it did point to the method of redemption that God would eventually fulfill, in Christ. Neither Adam nor Eve is ever considered "righteous" in any scripture account. The first man considered "righteous" was Able. Adam, and I suppose Eve also, was given "long life", not "eternal life".
if they were saved then that means ALL HUMANITY EVER IN HISTORY WILL BE ULTIMATELY SAVED.
