I recently bought a 2008 daytona SE, it came with this exhaust, and I have been looking online to see what the pricing is, the only comparable image is the Stage 2 or 3 race exhaust, they are both close to 1,800.00? True or not true? All the other Arrow systems are the slipon, and closer to like 800...

Sounds perfect, and I think it looks really good too, the yellow Arrows decal fits the yellow paint, very subdued and understated.

I hear a lot of whining when my buddies can't keep up. Lots of whining from coffee shop riders and guys with their heads in magazines. My wife whines about a loveless relationship....but no whining about the noise from anyone who has ever ridden the 675. Sounds like a jet engine most times, and I never need to look at the tach. I rarely get out horsed, and its usually by a literbike in a straight line.

LOVE the narrow profile, almost half the cross section of my Bandit 1200.

Its the forced air intake on this bike that makes it whine... i have the 09 in black... the whistle gets anoying trust me...

it's the flywheel or something. it happens on all 675's. i love it personally.

I had a quick google and APPARENTLY it's the sound of the intake. -

" It's just the "wheez" of the intake. Triumph has the inlet bottle necked to (almost) death. Look under your headlights and you can see the (almost non existant) tiny intake hole that it has to suck air from. "

OR infact it could be -

"The noise is a combination of the gear driven primary and mostly the gear driven counter-balancer. The BMW K1200S makes a similar noise as does the old K75. If you look around for bikes with gear driven counter-balancers you will notice that most of them make a similar noise."

i seen another vid with the T-daytona 675 and he removed the cat and it didnt whistle anymore =S beats me man, ride safe brethran

it will still whistle with the cat removed - check other videos on the tube =)

Believe it's the flywheel or the air intake or something. Or just the 3cyl sound but it's not the cat AFAIK
