ya she conducts us always. But because she is such a great musician, shes asked to conduct district bands from around the country and she picks some of the pieces that we play cuz we play them so great.

oops...sorry. I'm the type of percussionist that says, "If a percussion part can't be heard, it's completely useless." I can't stand hearing someone playing a xylophone part really soft. I always tell them to play out and if they mess up they can fix it later.

yeah! i was there at the midwest clinic and an ex-honors band studand at this school. If you look at the pamphlet that was at the concert for grisham, there is a gap between the 2 tubas. that was where i was standing, but they edited me out =(

Yea they're called leads. :D They tune your instrument while everyone is playing. So yea theyre connected to the tuners. Sry if i didnt explain the well enough
