Good example, but this is a problem in the inspection process not the harvest process. If the laws were there then the meat would have not made it to market. I can cite numerous recalls of processed meat in North America that have cause deaths or sickness.

You dont get that fat eating vegetables. Paul Watson eats alot of meat, probably double the amount of meat of a normal person. He just doesnt eat Whale because hes not from an Asian country. A huge amount of people in the world are starving and we have a fat old guy trying to stop a part of it from eating. He needs to be harpooned.

Hisato Ryono, a assemblyman in Taijio said two samples of short-finned pilot whale had mercury levels 10 to 16 times more than advised by the Health Ministry

Ryono and a fellow assemblyman conducted tests after local authorities ignored their calls to have the whalemeat inspected before it was served in school lunches in the town's kindergartens and elementary and junior high schools.
"We were shocked that it continued to be served in school lunches," Ryono told Reuters by phone.

Good example, but this is a problem in the inspection process not the harvest process. If the laws were there then the meat would have not made it to market. I can cite numerous recalls of processed meat in North America that have cause deaths or sickness.

Actually I have hunted seals before, to feed my family. And the fact you have resorted the personal attacks proves that you know what Paul watson does is wrong. By the way I hunt rabbits, grouse, deer and moose, all to feed my family, and I apologize for nothing, I do refuse to get into a name calling match because someone can't prove me wrong. u just said ur a supporter of those murderers. i dont like the tactics that much, but Paul is right. it is the only way and as long as he doesnt kill anyone, it is fine by me. protesting is as he said "Getting on your knees and begging" and those claims are true. my friend's cousin died due to the meat, but his parents didnt sue the place they ate the meat at while visiting Japan. it was so sad. and before you assume it is a lie, plz ask yourself this "What if you eat the meat AND YOU'RE WRONG?"

Greenpeace are good people, but protesting is like whining, people will just ignore it. you have to raise a fist in order to get the attention of the whalers. it is because of Sea Shepherd that the whalers now face money problems. and i dont have to boycott since the USA banned the intake of whale products and so did the EU. we are trying to bankrupt the whalers, not the car guys or others

The S.S. and their automaton supporters continue to spread lies. For the S.S. to claim they "cost the whalers half their quota" is another blatant Watson lie since they caught 551 out of 850...and they actually lost most days to bad weather than the S.S.! Not that facts have ever stopped Watson from lying..he even admits in his book that it's a "tactic". Of course, the fact that the S.S. has no jurisdiction or any kind doesn't seem to be an issue for the morons who support him, either.

Japan's Fisheries Agency said it had lodged a strong protest over "vicious and reckless" attempts by Sea Shepherd to sabotage the hunt, which killed 508 whales out of a targeted 860.
(As you can see, SSCS is making it harder for them to make their illegal blood money. by doing this, they will become bankrupt in time.)

because commercial whaling was banned in 1986 under international law that the Japanese agreed in. now they are killing whales illegally, claiming it to be for BS research. with Paul leading his Sea Shepherds, they interfere with the whalers and stop them from killing these amazing animals.
