Rudy's a manipulator. he's trying to make us think this conflict is comparable to the Battle of the Bulge and the Civil War? He's a scary guy and it's nice to be able to go back and listen to what the candidates were saying months back. Ron Paul is one of the only ones who's remarks are consistant.
What the republiCONS couldn't defacto deregulate through incompetence, Paul will simply eliminate. Corporations will topple WEAK government. HAIL the DOLLAR. Say goodbye to the planet.
Get wise, Republicans. Your TV stations and speakers get rich over war. You don't know the truth and you're losing our country. Watch "ZeitgeistTheMovie" (online) or read "Common Dreams" online. They were right from the beginning. I listen to "your" side -- what don't you try something new too, to sound more intelligent?
RUDOLPH W. GIULIANI & Hannity & Colmes have no perspective on reality and continue to hide behind their false patriotism regarding 9-11. Do they really believe that if you illegally pick a fight with anyone of several nations, Bomb them back into the stone age killing perhaps 100's of 1000's of men, women, and children, arrest, detain and torture them that we should not expect repercussions from these people in any venue that is available to them.
Its very interesting to see that in the beginning of Rudy's campaign he is very humble; however after a few debates and that sound byte at Ron Paul he is spinning every topic. In this show it looks like he is open to all good ideas but later, with regard to foreign policy he is adamant about first strikes and is insistent that terrorist hate us because we are free. Complete bull.
The funny thing is probably 90% of the people in new york hate this guy because of the lies and shit he talks about. America is not free, nore are terroists attacking because your 'free' they are attacking because your foreign policy is imperialistic.
I would love to see this guys thoughts on the recent attempted terrorist attacks in london. not once has the english media claimed the attacks was by al-queda and we know it wasnt. it was pissed off iraqi and Palestinians fighting against the uk who are helping to destroy there home land.
He keeps saying he "wants to learn from past mistakes", and yet he can't seem to acknowledge that the invasion of Iraq was the biggest mistake of this last decade. I can't believe he is being taking seriously by the GOP. They should be looking to Dr. Paul for a real leader.
I really can't stand Rudy. What the hell is he talking about? "There was a real doubt as to whether or not we could do nation-building." at about 3:25. What was that? "Nation-building"? I wasn't aware that this was the idea when we went into Iraq. I thought we'd just oust this horrible dictator, and then someone else would rise, and then we'd be out. That's not what I was sold on. Rudy knew about this?
(2:30) so educate me... what will happen if we withdraw from Iraq and assume a non-interventionist policy? Like what RonPaul says... --also define the type of war likely to come about-- im still leaning to RonPaul2008 -- Rudy doesn't have a brain in his head.
please look at ron paul. we will be in desperate shape if he is elected. i know he is a great poster boy, but he wants a one world government. This means to force democracy on other countries at the barrel of a gun. This is no joke. Research it. Hillary and Rudy are not the only choices and there is a reaosn why Ron Paul is leading in the polls. Please look at Ron Paul.
august I have looked at Ron Paul..I just believe that rudy is the right man, not ron paul..just all of the dems scare me with how they want to handle the Iraq war and immigration
Mich: I respectfully disagree with you when you say Guiliani is the "right man". Did you hear his comment at the SC GOP debate? He displayed his ignorance, and bullish ways, when he shouted down a more intelligent man than he, Dr. Ron Paul, by stating that he had never heard that our foreign policy contributed to 9/11 (terrorism). If this does not discount him from being commander-in-chief, I don't know what does. We need to go with Paul.
catobear that is your view though..In my mind I believe Rudy will do the best job..Yeah I would vote for ron paul over any dem but he is not going to win the primary..I see where your coming from but rudy gets things done
Mich: I see your rational but don't you think that, say Dr. Paul does not get the nomination and Rudy does, Rudy will lose the general election against any anti-war Dem? I mean, no one in America wants this war anymore (or any future wars) and so the GOP would be doomed from the start if they were to pick a ready-to-go-to-war candidate like Rudy. My thinking is, if you want a Rep to win, Paul is our only pick that appeals to a variety (if not a majority) of voters.
Cato..Ilove how we are having a convo over you tube.I'm not being rational..Rudy has a great chance in the general election..He sets well with moderates..He has the name and money..Ron Paul doesn't. Hilary voted for the war.she can't hide that.America is not ready for a woman president.A woman can't even do well in the evening news.
On Rudy, I can't disagree with you more. If it comes down to Rudy vs. Hillary (God forbid!), Hillary will win for sure. Why? Regardless of her gender, she will pull the anit-war vote, which is huge. I know what you're saying--she voted for the war and she is a woman--but I think you're wrong on this one, my friend.
Do you really think we are going to pull out every single soldier out of Iraq? The Dems know they can't do this..You know and I know it..Will America have 160,000 troops in Iraq if a Dem wins,no they wont..but they are going to have to keep a large force in there from keeping the middle east from going into chaos..you know, I know it and the dems know it.If you are a republican like I am, Rudy has the best chance to win.
Mich: If I could vote today to get the troops home I would. Do I want the Iraqi's to have a civil war? No. Do I want the Middle East to go into chaos? No, again. But what I do want is for us to get the hell out of other people's countries. My thought is, we need to stop acting like an empire and start acting like a republic. Will it be a painful transition? Yes, no doubt--but well worth it.
Dick cheney sold the same nuke tech we are bitching about iran having, TO IRAN....when they were UNDER SANCTION. Look it up, its on projectcensored DOT org.
Wake up people! Giuliani is making his career on 9-11, and will continue to use fear as a tool to get support from an uneducated public. He would willingly step right into the puppet shoes of our current president. MORE preemptive military strikes against imagined threats, MORE civil right revoked in the name of home land security, MORE economic erosion for lower and middle class Americans.
Giuliani told peter jennings that he was warned that the twin towers were going to come down. Why did he say he took people with him, and not tell anyone the towers were going to come down? Firefighters were on the 78th floor of the first tower to collapse saying he could knock out the fire with 2 more lines. Why was he not told the towers were going to collapse?
