  • Pretty much all of them I've gotten from pottery suppliers. Sheffield pottery has very good prices, and a great selection.

    A couple are from ebay, and if you look around, you can find very rare oxides such as Erbium or Praseodymium.

  • that would work if you mixed magnesium oxide with a metal more reactive than magnesium

    search 'single displacement reaction on google'

    stoich 4.4:1?

  • There were only two chemicals, but yes, stoichiometric. Al is 325 mesh, not sure about the CuO.

  • You should experiment with many different oxides.
