Um, they found her burnt remains in a firepit in his backyard, and bloodstains in his house... I'm hoping you decided to NOT read about this story before posting about it.
The only other person I could see getting away with this would be his wife, but then why is he running? (I'll ignore your second statement, for both our own good...)

Please contact your NC State Legislators and urge them to change that dumb law which currently would only provide for Lorean to be charged with just Lauterbach's murder and not that of her unborn baby.

I don't believe there should be two counts of murder against someone for the murder of what is essentially one entity (i.e. a pregnant woman). This is irregardless of her own choice, and one's own emotional state over this crime. Maybe my "pro-choice" bit was an unintentional red herring, and maybe you don't have a political agenda, but I still think that changing the law is absurd. (By the way, I still think that Laurean should've been an abortion).
hope they catch that son of a bitch. As a former servicemen... I wanna say this...We had a saying in the navy..."Hurry up and wait". It doesn't surprise me one bit that this fella was allowed to get away with what he done to this lady...He should have been arrested and put on restriction until the investigation was complete.
innocent until proven guilty, what's to say he wasn't framed, you don't know the evidence, dont just listen to what the news tells you, of course if he did do it then i agree with you.
