Where were these guys when I was stationed up in Iceland 03-05? I guess they decided that they needed an army of some sort after the US military decided to pack up and leave.

They existed then. But we only have peace keepers and most of these are policemen that have been trained up for peace keeping. There is no defence force that we have other than the Coast Guard and SWAT.
