Folks these days get lost in all the Y/Tube wunder kidz.

They play blindingly fast, mind numbing difficult licks like it's just a walk in the park.

But at the end of the day their playing is dead,void of meaning.

Michael on the other end of the spectrum "GETS IT".

Every note coming off that fretboard has meaning, not just some hyper speed sonic sludge spewed forth to impress the mindless masses demanding such.

My hat's off to him. Player to a player, Michael you're wonderful.

Saw this guy live a few years ago. He jammed for 3 hours that night. We talked to him in between sets and he told us he had the flu. He was still just as amazing as he is in this video.

Burks uses a Dr. Z amp that's essentially custom made for him. It's a model called the Delta 88, and is an amazing amp.
