My mother has new fabia with 4,5tkm. Oil from gearbox is liking, Service says its regular because of bad quality of montage at the manufacture. Think about it? Everyone can change up and down the meter. I have octavia II so can tall somethink about skoda quality. Octavia is better but its still skoda. Everythink what i has to repeired in my can was original VW part, so maybe Czachs doesn`t make bad cars but vw parts are not so good quality like in the 90`s.

Yep The Golf 2nd edition 1.6 D really a very durable engine, if U take care it well U can perform 1 million. I just dont understand VW why dont insert a bigger engine in it, anyway the insurance the same beetween 1.5-2 liters! So 1.9D would be better!
