Easy there tiger! I stick by my Rendevous comment. The stuff is poor and overpriced garbage. Try the Parlour restaurant in Fortnum and Masons for seriously good ice cream.

As I said previously, the Stuff is NOT poor. Back in the Capital in a few Weeks, so I will take U up on the Advice to visit Fortnum & Mason; although I would like to think it is good Ice Cream as I imagine it is a bit pricey....much more so than in the Centre of London ( Leicester Square ) - You cunningly avoided responding to that !!

there are some good places. golden pagoda on gerrard street, sartaj in covent garden are good. I went to Planet spice the other day which was unbelievably good - that was in addington which is just out of london.

I was in London a year ago. You need to be my tour guide the next time I am there. I wish I would have known beforehand about Agnes Steakhouse! I will be coming, but I won't be able to get there till 2pm at the earliest as I have class in Covent Garden till 1.50pm. All the pubs on Leic Sq are horrible and crammed with people. There's a nice Wetherspoons (Penderels Oak) at 288 High Holborn and another (The Knights Templar) at 95 Chancery Lane.

I don't know what Moon & Sixpence is like, but I was pointing those two out more cause they're really nice inside and pretty big rather than especially close. The ladies bathroom in the Knights Templar is a sight to behold and Penderels Oak has bookcases with actual books on them.

There is a Starbucks on Leicester Square, but it's not a very nice one. Most places on Leicester Square are very busy. There's a better Starbucks just down from Tottenham Court Road tube on New Oxford Street.
