I agree... the US producers had to shave it all down under 23 minutes running time, so it unfortunately became a "deleted scene"

In The beginning you mentioned TASSIE as location for DOO TOWN, rethink this as placing the characters in a specific location can have detrimental effects ( i.e. we knew all taswegians were like that.). ref (Simpsons, Springfield). Good characters seen a lot before but well put together for pilot. Wish you guys luck for the future. The priest is an especially good character.

The US producers wanted an authentic place name specifically from Tasmania... DOOTOWN made it to the top of the list (although the real town is more of a collection of seaside shacks, although they really doo the thing with the name-plaques there!)
