This is the very first time I have heard this song and I can tell that it is a must have classic! These guys are up there with Yes, ELP, and Genesis to name a few. It is a real dirty, rotten, stinking, filthy, obscene shame that they never got the proper backing by their record company. They should have been more popular. I am now a fan and the other songs on the album are worth more than a few listens, especially "Six-Ate."
@Matshoppahulle When listening to Camel or Yes it feels they play more to the audience than King Crimson or Pink Floyd..somehow Camel and Yes have more air in their music eventhough Floyd did
@Matshoppahulle I haven't listened the members' solo albums apart few bits of Wakeman's The Six Wiwes of Henry VIII. I truly like the the first Yes album with Peter Banks & Tony Kaye as well :) Wonder if there are tapes or something with Howe playing the songs from the first two albums.. ok nuff OT LOL :)
great introit, leads us into rhythmic kaleidoscope -- classic Camel -- great bass and drum interactions -- just rocks -- oh the image of that Camel and its gallopading, gallop gait across the desert !!! See it in those wind synths yea, yea, yea move me

If people heard the name Andrew Latimer, most people would say, "Andrew who?" I'd promptly show them this song and then they would know the awesomeness that is Andrew Latimer and Camel.
excelente

I sometimes wish Camel had pursued a heavier, rockier centre of gravity rather than the jazzy, mellow waters they often strayed into.

I used to listen to this song when I was 8. I remember Arubaluba and Metrognome were my favourite. Great song!

@1qaz2wsx3edc5753 I've always said that. I'm a huge fan of ELP, Yes and Genesis. Why Camel never got the recognition they deserved, beats me.

@dvaidr Agree. I probably had them as no. 5-6 at the time , but their music has
stood the test of time much better than Genesis, Yes King Crimson...................
As of now they are my no.1, with Pink Floyd as no 2
