I had a tune come up on my Pandora radio one day called Please Tell Me Brother by Golden Smog and I liked it enough to make a station based on that tune. As it happens, that station led me to Sweet Lord in Heaven by Mike Doughty which has become my favorite song of the moment. Thanks for putting this video up as it's the only place I can actually find to listen to the song without waiting for it to come around on my Pandora station once again.

Great video upload. I saw Doughty with Soul Coughing and again, when he was on his own and opened for John Mayer.

While browsing the mall tonight, my husband and I stopped in a hat store and Doughty was playing, though I didn't recognize the song. I asked the store clerk (who had put the cd in) and he told me it was "The Pink Life". I'm hooked.

@funktuall I was listening to Stern this morning at around 7:30 and he went on a rant about how much he liked Soul Coughing and he was asking "Where are they now?" He was playing one of their songs while he & Robin were searching for info on the band online. I called in and got Steve Brandano on the phone. I was gonna tell 'em about Mike Doughty and mention your videos & recommend some tracks. After being on hold for a 40 minutes I had to go to work so no dice. I'll keep trying though.
