  • Jeep had a ad campaign with the Lost Experience by embedding products in documents etc... this was probably a commercial you could watch on old "footage" found on the dharma server etc... This was done mostly online.

  • Why can't ads today be this engaging.

  • It's rhetorical I know they were in the 70's.

  • Where the fuck is CJ-6?!

  • is anybody waiting for a new lost experience?

    or is it just me?

  • omg that logo is also on that dead shark.

  • lol - the Dharma Initiative and the Hanso Foundation

  • Was and always will be the toughest Jeep ever built, the CJ series. I really like my 5 but when it comes to traveling, I wouldn't mind a 7, for space and more highway capabilities.

  • I have a 1979 CJ 7 with a 304 and 3 speed manual (all stock) and it is terrible on the highway. It only does around 60-65 tops.

  • its part of the lost experience idiot

  • oh really ?

    can you proove it ?!

it doesn't make it a lost video when you see a fucking dharma logo, it's easy to put that logo everywhere.

  • It couldn't be a Dharma video (Although the Dharma videos look like they're the same age as this ad). If Dharma did a car ad, it would be for VW buses since that's what they drove on the Island.

  • if you notice they also drove these on the island in the newer season (5 to be exact) when they were taken back to 1977.

  • i found this while searching through the dead webpage "let your compass guide you" it was held on the server in a sub dir' under "cj7_hatch.mov

obviously an old advert using a lost website to promte a jeep!

loads of other lost goodies in the dir too! if you get to it from the hidden link on the compass page!!!

  • I <3 Lost :)

  • HANSO!

  • I take it nobody here knows the true nature of this video...

  • dharma

  • indeed

  • Maybe somebody would like to show me where the extra space was in my 85 Laredo...

  • haha true that

there is no extra space in my 85 at all

  • I want one of these and a commando and a willys

  • ahh good old AMC

  • I ordered a 1980 cj7 in 1979 the passenger seat was an option..I wish i still had it!!!

  • how is dis related 2 lost?? even tho there is da dharma sign

  • what the hell does this have to do with LOST?!

  • Go to Lostpedia and look up the Lost Experience. Check out the Let your compass guide you website

  • What about Nat Sav

  • arcticsnow dosen't seem to understand that those other countries have a harder time importing Jeeps due to the fact that it is an American made product and therfore cost more. The reason they use those other brands you mentioned more is they are easier to get ahold of, they simpley cost less.

  • Jeeps are awsome, especialy CJ7's

  • How shameless! Just ask anyone who has really owned a jeep and can give a honest opinion without patriotic or racial pride. The jeep is JUNK! No one in Africa, Siberia, or Himalayas use Jeep. Even poor countries would rather pay 3x more and use a Toyota Landcruiser. Jeeps rust, break down and is very noisy off road.

  • Some people just don't get it... stick to your Corolla and leave the real vehicles to the big boys. Jeeps are for Jeep people, not for Yuppies...

  • oh? So you've been to each of those countries and asked the population on their preference to vehicle? And you've also OWNED one...and taken proper care of it to verify your claims? Please, spare us your biased assumption.

  • lol, biased...? from someone who calls himself jssJEEPin. and yes i have been to those places... have you ever own3d a toyota fj or landcruiser? who is biased?

  • what does my screen name have to do with it? Other then I like Jeeps. Off that note, I never said anything against Toyotas, just defended Jeep from your accusations, nice try though.

  • Piss on Jap trucks!

  • Oh, sorry Jeeps held stop the Nazis in North Africa, without the agility and all terrian capabilities of the Jeep the Desert Rats would have never been able to conduct their raids on the Nazi army. Learn your history.

  • So far all the replies have been biased, racist, and blindly patriotic... does corporate America depend heavily on white american males as consumers? ......... YES THEY DO!

  • Whoa! Nice commercial for the CJs. I own a TJ.

    Thanks

  • isn't the return key that big round button on the front of the comupter?

  • eto k e?

is where you can find out where all the clues are and their meaning.

And btw, you have to go to the newsletter section and login with the code "breaking strain" first to be able to access most of the clues on the Hanzo site.

  • also try hugh McIntyre's BIO

    input: the mouth piece

press return and follow the clues... :-)

  • Hey dumpsky, where is the girl?

  • does someone want to help me understand all of this, and how it relates to LOST? it would be greatly appreciated

  • Has anyone really explored the three websites provided on the Hanso Foundation commercials? "www.sublymonal.com" provides a hidden message which is "code: Heir Apparent". Where do I use this? What does this mean? Also, does anyone know how to access Libby Wale's bio on the hanso foundation website? Any other clues or interesting areas?

  • goto: thehansofoundation.org >> executive bios >> werner mittelwerk.

    input: heir apparent

    click the girl.

  • awesome thanks, are there anymore tricks or hints for this site? and how does it all relate to lost?

  • it's a web-thing called: "the LOST experience" where you can search for clues on pages that relate to the LOST universe, like Oceanic Airlines, the band DRIVESHAFT's page and so on... no need to go insane :-)

  • Okay, supposedly you go to the mittelwerk's bio, and type "heir apparent" into the little login box in the middle of his bio, which is out of place. and then you click on a girl somewhere. where is this girl.

  • when you type in "Heir Apparent" the screen seems to crumple up like a piece of paper. It then turns black and you then see a dimly lit hallway. At the end of this hallway is a door with a shady figure standing in it. Click on the figure standing in the doorway. That is the girl dumpsky was referring to.

  • Am I doing this correctly. I type in Heir Apparent into the login field in the middle of the text of his bio, but nothing happens. do I click anywhere after that or press enter key on the keyboard?

  • press the return key after inputting: heir apparent

  • Sorry but i still don't get it and I'm really desperate!!!!!! Where is the return key????

  • sheeeesh! the RETURN key is the key you press when you want to write a new line in a text program, or to confirm an input you wrote into a textfield. try the ENTER key too.

  • it's right next to the any key lol

  • ECHO ME UTEP HIT

Is what it reads, which is an anagram for:

  • Baffling baffling baffling :/

    Lost and I have a love/hate relationship

  • exactly the type of relationsheep the producers like us to have. Makes the show keep going ;)

  • wait...where was this in the episode?

  • CJ7...

Why does that remind me of something from Lost.

I think the "CJ7" was on some of the drugs used by DHARMA!

  • I think you may be correct! Maybe on Desmond's vaccines.. or the ones in the medical hatch??

  • "If you are one, know one.. Happy Mother's Day!"

hehe, I thought I was the only one looking that intently. But to tell the truth, I think it's just the other side of the newspaper!

Anyone notice the signatures don't match?

  • I can put up with the blatant advertising when there are clues involved, but "The Mouth Piece" again? That's already come up twice tonite -- the binary code and the Buddha. I guess they're really trying to "drive" the point home. ;)

Wonder when we learn where it leads....

  • If you are one, know one

    Happy Mother's Day!

  • yes, i caught that too

  • wow

  • I think the red text is:

    ECHO ME UTEP HIT

which is an anagram for The Mouth Piece.

  • It is a code or something:

    8CHO ME UTEF 6IT i think

Notice the symbol is the arrow pointed downwards

  • what does it say in red at the end?

    ECHO ME HERE WIT?

its way too pixelated to read

  • at the begining the jeep apears in an egg on an ISLAND :x :p pretty cooL
