  • That's not a fighter jet - that is a BIG bomber screaming by.

  • I was at this show and have seen at least 50 airshows in my life. The B1b show on this day was the loudest and most badass airshow performance I have ever seen.

  • B1B's must be "experienced" Watched a demo at the MacDill Airshow several years ago, the freaking pavement was vibrating when this thing did its afterburner climb

  • those things are loud as fuck try seeing one fly by at a military base in Arizona

  • my dad probabaly helped build that plane...

  • That is an awesome plane. Hard to imagine that carries more than a B52 and can fly like that.

  • @kzoframe39 ......does it really?! I thought for sure the B-52 could hold more

  • @kzoframe39 wow thanks for that fact, didnt realise its payload was so big :O why is the b52 still flying :/

  • No more overcrowded beach airshow! yay!

    Back to Homestead!

  • The B-1B has four F101-GE-102 augmented turbo fan engines with 30,000 lbs of thrust each at full augmentation.

  • the faster it gos the more the wings turn back

  • no...the pilot just retracts them. It doesnt matter how fast the aircraft is going. But yes...wings are usually swept back during faster flight speeds

  • no he dos not the computers tell them i seen one of this planes and dont u think i asked the pilot if he dos it or not i am alowed to places were normal people cant get in

  • well I cant be certain whether you're telling fact or fiction, but there is a manual control inside the cockpit as well

  • ya its the loudest aircraft in my opinion

  • well it does have 4 fighter jet engines in it. lol. I believe F100-PW-229, same as the F15.

  • actually they are a different version.

    Commonly mixed up

  • I did some research though and it was actually four F16 engines not F15.

  • Interesting. Of couse they are fitted for the B-1. Tweaks here and there for different performance

  • most likely. Either way, really loud :)

  • Hello, Rockwell B-1B Lancer is powered by four General Electric F-101 turbofans not with Pratt&Whitney F-100-PW-229...

  • is it loud?

  • Me & my son were at the airshow and we also saw a high speed b-1b lancer flyby.Awsome just like this one.
