Cool idea for a video. Is this still an active junkyard? I agree that most of these cars are too far gone. However for someone restoring one of y=these cars there are a lot of good parts in this place
id love to pick a few of them and trace owner history and show the people they used to belong to where they sit and rust now. kinda like a reunite/goodbye again thing. then again, maybe some of the owners would want to get it back and restore it. I sure would like to get my 75 trans am back. Good idea for a tv show huh?
@lllllll5s '54 Chevy panel delivery of some kind. It looks like it had a spot light in the middle of the roof... maybe a electric utility vehicle at one time. Also, the hood emblem is on up-side-down.
@rustandgrease The Nash was a popular car used in "The Adventures of Superman" TV series of the 50's. Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen always drove them to chase a story and try to get there befopre Clark Kent gets to it first LOL !
ive saved about 200 old chevs since 1986 in 64x130 pole barns with concrete floors waityng to hit lottery to fix them all or the kids can ebay them when im dead 42-76 most convrts hardtops and sedan deliveries bel air impala chevelle nova camaro and a 56 vette and a 58 belvedere wow one plymouth i guess i watched christine too many times
Is there a way a person can get one or more of these cars? I always wanted a 58 Chevy Impala and would LOVE to restore one!! There are several others I would not mind owning either. Are there titles?
20 years ago most of these would be salvageable, now most just some parts.......sit on ground destroys frames and quarters not to mention floors when rains get in......better if they would have been put in the air or on gravel.....to them its scrap,to us its collectible.
cost more to get them out than just scrap the real rusty junk.....and maybe save the better ones.......but most looked beyond the cost of repair.......they sat way tooo long.
@CubeLuda it may not be a 396 car. all the body shells look the same. without vin munbers there is no way to tell if it was orignally an inline 6, 283, 327, 350, or 396 car. i am pretty sure the 454 wasnt an option untill 68 or 69. i know it was on 70 and later untill it was dropped from production
@prest0987 Every one that has ever asked has gotten an answer, they asked nicely though. I have not denied any vehicle the right to a second life. If you really want to know I can tell you.
@rustandgrease this is just wrong a lot of these cars has so much promise and can be restored WHAT A WASTE. if anyone find were this place is located i would like to know
i cant watch this...hurts to much to see such great cars wasteing away!!! if it was up to me, all these would be in my backyard being fixed on, dont care how long it took!

2:55 appears to be a '65 Impala, but something is funny about it.
- Seems to have a post, meaning it's not a hardtop.
- There were no 2 door Impala's with posts in '65, only Biscayne and Belairs. all Impalas were Hardtop.
- Impala is the only car to come with 3 tail lights on each side, Biscayne and belairs had 2.
- The roofline looks steeper than a 2 door Impala.
I'm gonna have to go ahead and say it's either a 4 door Impala with post, or a 2 door belair or biscayne with impala trunk.
