  • needs more practice his legs tremble before the movement and made an extra jump in the end of the kata

  • I find this to be a bit more than the acutaul Bunkai for Chinte, Sensei gives variations for the same movement, which is nice.

  • this is not bunkai but basic aplication kata !

  • blah

  • What happened to the nihon nukite to the eyes?

  • @Bassai Some times it is more realistic not to do that since split fingers can become a weakness! A broken finger ispainful and means weeks of horrible training, so alternative bunkai is chosen, only if you are confident that you have strong fingers........

  • @chapusa100 that's right, if you want to apply the technique, that's up to you. But the author of the kata obviously was demonstrating jodan nihon nukite to the eyes, therefore one should perform it the way it was meant to be performed. To see a more original Okinawan version, search for a vid titled "Chint-ti" or "Chinti".

  • il M. Naito è 1 grandeee!!!

  • oue rien a dire , tout y est

    osu

  • QUE GENIAL LE SALE EL KATA !!!

  • the only fault I see is the basic concept of the purpose of your off hand coming into contact with the punching hand which signifys pulling the opponent into the strike whether it be punch or elbow etc. he didn't show that.Like the side stepping the kicks tho.

  • Excellent karateca Sensei Naíto, com quem aprendi muito, quando com ele estive, enorme privilégio para qualquer karateca.

    Oss!

  • OSS MAESTRO!

  • I've training with guy - and this video shows he is aweson. Such power.

  • Si più o meno ho capito grazie!

  • A cosa servono i 3 saltelli che il maestro fa alla fine del kata? hanno un preciso scopo nei bunkai?

  • Sai l'inglese? Ecco la miglior risposta che ho trovato:

"The somewhat peculiar closing movements allude to the absorption of the power of the waves by the sand, which is a symbol of the return to tranquility after the violent storm.

Some believe the final three movements were added to bring the kata back to the original starting place in order to facilitate competition, because they are not present in the other versions of the kata practiced by other styles of Japanese Karate."

    Saluti, Sergio

    buona giornata.
