GAMO SOCOM EXTREME PELLET RIFLE

i own my socom extreme for a year & LOVE IT! it a hard hitting flate shooter i dumped the 3X9 stock scope..i live in the northeast and it gets COLD the scope FOG RIGHT UP .. i replaced it with a leapers 6x32 and is great ..GAMO great job. and the heavy pellets do better i'm shooting beeman kodak macth 177 .10.65 gr

using PBA's is the standard with a gun of this caliber...you COULD go with the .25 but your gonna be spending a bit more money because they're hard to find at your local sporting good store. Most get the .177 version because its the one that boasts the 1650fps, but unless your rocking somewhere around a 13-15 grain pellet, your accuracy is going to suck after 60 yards and is just going to go through the animal. .22 is better with better yaw and kinetic takedown.

i was thinking bout getting this gun and so far it looks very good and i was just wondering did you ever have any problems?

@brendan5775 i shot it about 300 times and now i'm disabled and it takes around 60-70 pounds of cocking power so i sold it to a friend and he has been shooting it like crazy with no problems. I have heard that shooting pba raptors will damage it over extended use. Thank you for watching

I have a Socom Elite, 1000FPS w/lead, 1200FPS w/PBA, not as powerful as this one, but only half of the cocking effort made me love it, I kinda wish this model made .22 cal, cuz that its better for penetrate and does more damage.

@qdgundam You probably checked into it all ready,there might be a kit to switch over to .22 cal.,,or they sell a pellet that has a bb built into the pellet,wich helps with penatration......thanks for commenting .....check out my other vids.
