yes go to google and then fill in l4d maps. Choose the first one. Then you can choose a map and download. U NEED winrar . Then open it. Extract to left 4 dead map. Go to left 4 dead. Open the console. Fill in changelevel l4d_(name of map). (U NEED sv_cheats 1 on) click enter. And u are in the map!

Without the proper fgd how can you make car alarms and panic events? (not called cresendo's btw) Did you honestly figure the keys and values of the entities in game and make your own .fgd? Otherwise you cannot do it.
A working fgd has been out for a few weeks now. You can make working car alarms, just decompile an existing map and select, copy and then paste into your own map, they work a treat or if you don't want the warning lights and indicators then its easy enough to figure out the right settings from them. While panic_event is the actual command used in the entities, both TR and Valve have referred to triggered panic events as crescendos going back years now.
subscribed ;) Looks promising, can't wait to see more of your work when the official sdk comes out. I really hope you'll post some more vids when you make progress.
lookin good. Maybe you could make a dead end in the road so the survivors have to climb onto/over a roof for a while. just for a change of pace.
