  • What a loss. He was one of the best musician the world of rock music ever knew :/

  • Sing it baby, i like the acoustic version way better but he is great nonetheless, this is good music! One love!! From a soul sistah!

  • if Heath Ledger was still alive, I bet he could play Jeff Buckley.

  • @fragilecoffee90 Saw a video of him singing Hallelujah and he sang it quite bad lmao

  • So unreal.

  • @eduardoobregon Reeve Carney is a true musician, trust me look up his work.

  • Happy Birthday Jeff!

  • movie about jeff buckley? with james franco? man what a way to ruin a legend!!!! the world is fucked up! I dont know how domething like that is even allowed

  • @eduardoobregon reeve carney is playing jeff buckley in the movie.

  • @vashthestampede1213 I have no idea how that is, and that is a good thing. If there is indeed going to be a movie, something I'm so far uncomfortable with, well atleast it's not james franco and an unknow, to me at least, which is more artistic imo.

  • @vashthestampede1213 right wait a minute, I cannot respect any musician that writes for a spiderman soundtrack, it-s not music, its a product at worse and mass entertainment at best, so yeah, it will probably be an offensive film, a sold out hore film about a true artist :(

  • @vashthestampede1213 who the fuck is reeve carney?

  • @eduardoobregon

Totally agree with you. I understand the reasons behind it but it's all about the music. I wish the focus would stay on the music and not on the legend (which gets more inflated every day). Everything you need to know about him is in the music. I could see the movie increasing interest in the music but I have a feeling it will just lead to more hallelujah covers.

  • It's frustrating as hell that the most talented artists always die young.

  • That really did feel real...mmmmmmmm...well, he is certainly an angel.

  • <3 i get lost in his voice every time!:D<3

  • I only discovered his music a couple years ago, but his voice is the best I've ever heard in my life. <3

  • I love him... his soul was bigger than the sun that shines.. i love him..

  • 'If this all goes away, the attention fades like it does with everything, atleast I got this.'

It hasn't faded yet, babe. Keep on going.

  • 2 people accidentally clicked dislike.

Jeff, do you see this? So many people not only admire you for your music, they LOVE you. not just, 'ohmegee jeff so hot' They truely love you. I love every aspect of your character. In your years, you explaind stuff that is even more relevant now. They learn from you. I feel for you. What in the fuck was your partner doing? I would have been right there by your side at all times.

Though, be glad you arn't here for this wretched shit. Maybe we change...

  • JB - S0 Re4l (Germany) is a better video of this song and shows Jeff introducing the band. Much clearer.

  • i want to cry.... ive always known he was dead but it just really hit me ...jeff is dead ....i suddenly feel empty, he was so amazing and it kills me to speak about him in past tense, i am in love with a dead man everyone who has listened to him is. but he is alive in our hearts and our ears. they dont make em like him anymore sadly .......guys take note aspire to look act and sing like jeff buckley because he was and still is awsome!

  • @tomuchshit2handel It just hit me today also. I've been experiencing the most ridiculous mood changes ever. Seeing him live and watching his interviews make him so real and make me admire him so much more and then I start picturing him drowning, trying to imagine what were his last thoughts, words. Or why the fuck he thought a late swim was a good idea. Or where he would be now, or if maybe i could ever meet him or see him live, i don't know... (being on my period ISN'T helping) gah

  • how can anyone dislike this?

  • jimmy gnecco fan here but this guys cool but not my gnecco

  • pray for those who never heard of jeff buckley so that they can find the real music.

  • i love this guy!

    this song saved me!

  • It's a shame this kind of music is not being made anymore... Jeff Buckley was and always will be the best! The world lost an amazing talent back in '97.

  • At 4:20 he could swallow the mic whole!

  • That's the best version of this song!

  • I woulda lost my shit at the end of the song.....

  • "Abbiamo girovagato

Fino a quando la luna non è diventata piena

    Il vento ha soffiato un'invocazione

E io mi sono addormentato al cancello

…E non ho mai varcato la soglia ..."

  • this is a great song

  • No actor will be able to sing like Jeff Buckley, I think that not even a singer one day accomplish this, he sang with his soul and that you can not have ... The role in the movie has to be James Franco, can only reach in and take his soul was the essence of Jeff Buckley.

  • @FarikEnjoy if anyone can do it, james franco can. he did james dean so beautifully. but i agree about no one ever being able to sing like buckley good luck finding talent like that. like u said, he sand with his soul, he makes me feel emotions i did not know i could feel! damn

  • @FarikEnjoy Thom Yorke, Matt Bellamy

  • 3:30-3:38 that haunting voice..

  • es déu

  • jeff buckley is SO REAL

  • @NathFilms Oh, he is! :')

  • 2:44 - Orgasmic, at first I was wondering why the audience was just standing there. But than I realized I would probably be just as overwhelmed. Wish I could have seen him live.

  • Kewl!!

  • Oh, that was surreal

  • I have been a fan for a long time, but have been so negligent in seeking out live footage of him performing. In my brain his voice and his image were never together... It is just mesmerizing. I really envy anybody who got to witness him perform live.

  • Check out 'Convalescence Kid: Nothing left to lose' This guy's pretty awesome!!

  • You can tell, the audience in this clip is mesmerized.....I think he had that effect on people, his music was haunting.

  • I wonder who disliked ?

  • 3:50 onwards.. fuckin hell I just them to play that part over and over.

  • goddamnit he's sexy.

  • Comment removed

  • 3:10-4:45 cant argue with that.

  • I`m an only Japanese who listen his songs.

    Japanese pop&rock are too sub-culture.

  • Angelic Sexy Sad Poetic....

  • a world without Jeff Buckley, that's a hard pill to swallow, a world without these priceless gems, now that would be UNBEARABLE! thanks for posting

  • jeff buckley touches my life like no one else, even though I never met him nor saw him live...I can feel him in my soul

  • the best of all time

  • sexy

  • i love the interlude, so crazy and insane, just blows away my mind.

    PD

How can you have a good clean on guitar and a good distortion?

  • This music chills me every time I hear it. It is so beautiful, but you can feel his pain in the words and melody too. What an amazing singer, he deserves to be long remembered.

  • I like grunge but music died at 90s when all shitty pop stars started becoming pretty famous, I know there is good music too (manchester orchestra you should really check them out) but yoy cannot compare the music disease we are having today :(

  • don't leave!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I totaly agree with everybody who says this is beautiful...

    He is just so special...

  • steven ballbags

  • fvalestra, thanks for your comment, and thank you for loving Jeff, (though I'm SURE you had no choice in this) haha, oh yeah, and thanks for loving me, hahaha, LOVE FOREVER AND ALWAYS FROM IRELAND, ps, he's just gotten one of my DAUGHTERS hooked now, hehehe

  • The only person who should decide whether there will be a Jeff Buckley film is Jeff himself ;) I think Mary is a brilliant woman, but for the love of God, don't water down the irreplacable talent!

  • Jeff Buckley is TOTALLY, TOTALLY, adictive, it can take a while to catch you, but when he does, you've no hope, you're just LOST in his amazing GRACE!

LOVE FOREVER AND ALWAYS FROM IRELAND

  • @hannah4440

love you Hannah for what you just said :-)

  • he died when i was less then two years old :(

  • people on youtube have no brain...except me

  • when he says "I couldn't awake from the nightmare, it sucked me in and pulled me under" .. gives me goosebumps.. given his death.

This is a GREAT DVD by the way

  • 2:45--I just MELTED :)

  • Does Jeff say Sid i love you at 3:02?

  • @bcrisp888 Seems so, right?

  • Theres never any youtube arguments on good music like this. Go away if you're disturbing the peace. no one likes you.

  • Twi robism why are you going around and commenting bad things on jeff buckley you seriously dont have anything better to do than be obsessed with robert pattinson by the sounds of your name! You wouldnt know real music if it came and slapped you in your twilight obsessed face! Robert pattinson copies people like this and van morrison they are legends he is NOT!

  • @TwiRobism your insane!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @vashthestampede1213 you're right, he is insane!

  • @TwiRobism You can't hear and you have no musical taste whatsoever.

  • @TwiRobism that was very funny, and if u weren't being sarcastic then u have serious problems...

  • @TwiRobism To compare him to robert pattinson is an insult. Jeff is a God.

  • @TwiRobism RPattz can fuck off!

  • @TwiRobism

    HAHAHAHHAHA are you serious?

  • song never fails to give me chills

  • It looks like he has Grunge band playing with him.

  • Does anyone know a forget her live version??

  • genius

  • This is so amazing. I love people and youtube for finds like this. Without European TV recognizing the importance of live music programs, and the internet, American Buckley fans like myself would never get to see something this incredible.

Thank you for posting and sharing this. Made my morning.

  • sorry kurt, but jeff buckley has a wider tone and versatility ;/

  • After listening to JB, I practically forget that any other music exists, and lately I find it really hard to listen to anything but. Damn that river. I miss Jeff!

  • I hope he's in a better place.. he sounds like heaven to me.. can't get any better

  • What's that effect he uses for his guitar in the intro? I really like the sound of it

  • will never stop loving him and his music

I heard there's more documentary film in the works

  • How the f*ck can any man sing that high with such little effort!? It's just brilliant.

  • only the good die young.

  • Genius... Go straight to the heart...

  • He was Gay? Don't get me the Wrong idea but I did noticed that he has the earing on the Gay ear don't give me thumbs down for this comment, By The Way This is the best live performance of this song

  • Comment removed

  • @rockerMan0987 He wasn't gay. He had a girlfriend who was a singer as well.

  • This is my all time favorite Jeff Buckley song. It's beautiful.

  • I agree guys, he's the best singer/performer of all time ! I love this song <3

  • Im always trying to spread the word on how AMAZING Jeff Buckley is to everybody i know. His music has totally changed my life. Every song on Grace is filled with so much emotion and passion, its unbelievable. He is my favorite Artist of all time. I will be listening to his music till the day i die and hopefully if its possible after that to.

  • today i was at work and i was listening to this master piece and two idiots came to me and said this music sucks i said ok and then he said clear your ears with some techno and trance and i said ok then he said how many people listens to this musician i wonder i feel like your the only one heheh oo bloody people and they thought im gonna clear my ears with their shit

  • i put this on at work once and i managed to convince a customer to buy it :D

  • @kicklickmick man i feel you! Techno and trance ruins your ears therefore you cant hear anything good anymore it has to get louder and louder to hear, you cant hear the fine harmonics of a true artist with a manual instrument

  • Comment removed

  • This and other videos of this concert seem high quality. Does anyone know if available for download?

  • i down loaded it from youtube.

  • @vashthestampede1213

grace around the world dvd bro :) its good

  • @DARUMINATI i know i have it!!!

  • Damn, this guy was really amazing, he could reach high notes that would make the most talented rock singers jealous (Freddy Mercury, Steve Perry, Chris Cornell.....) and without forcing it.....great!!!

  • harmonies .... words just streamin' perfectly together ..... this is what heaven must sound like for Jeff " the singer who makes sweet love to music itself..." Buckley an eternal song ...

  • I discovered him today... I´m amazed...

Such a pity that he passed away so young. I don´t know why, but his death reminds of Brandon Lee...

Two young talents who had a lot to give to the world...

May both of them rest in peace.

  • Many people dont now what they are missing when they dont listen to music like this. I fell so sorry for them. Jeff Buckley is the best. Its a shame that it is only 3000 views. I love you guys who understand this.

  • @jessica9809 and we love you. Its nice to know others feel the same way. Even if the people in our lives dont get it!!

  • @jessica9809

Listen to sigur ros for me, because that's exactly how I feel about them, noone knows them and they make the most beautiful music of all time.

  • @DaWhip

    Nobody knows Sigor Ros?

I liked them when they were called Arab Strap.

  • @Pelevor

I meant nobody knows of them where I live, New Jersey, home of the guidos, Lil Wayne, and Hannah Montana fanatics. And Arab Strap? Are you serious, the only similarity is piano and violin USE. Not even how their used. Arab Strap moans, Sigur Ros belts and soars. Arab Strap is bleak and dull, Sigur Ros is bright (minus ( ) ), transcendental, and emotional. Never use them in the same sentence again thank you...

  • Just want to clarify something. This song, was the first song I ever heard from Jeff back in 1997 (the tragic year of his death). I was an instant fan of his brilliant talent, and has supported this music through the eager purchase of it. Thankfully, we have an abundance of recorded moments that have been showing the light of day due to the dilligent work of his Mother, and sooo many musicians who still marvel at his work!

You are dearly missed Mr Buckley!

  • This was the very first song I had ever heard from Jeff! I was Stunned, Shocked, and totally overwhelmed by it.

    You are dearly missed Jeff!

  • Only 643 views? so much people passing by such beautiful things in life...

my words are sharkside38 words. 27 stars post :)

  • Merci pour le post...

    Magnifique!

  • so simple and yet so perfect. not like today when they have million lights and dancers and there's no music at all.

    jeff is a pure poetry.

hope we meet after this life.

  • @ajdukujac Simple???? I d'ont think so... the melody off course is but listen carefully to the music and you will see it's not so easy!!! (Rythme changes, chords... and of course interpretation!!!)
