no he didnt sample it. sampleing is where you take a beat or a riff and add it to your own music (and daft punk completely change the sample so its usually very different). kanye just uses a remix of their song (that DP did themselves) and then talks over it. its not even like he remixes it himself.

If you say that an artist like Kanye isn't talented you are making a fool of yourself, he enjoys respect with both the mainstream listeners and the die hard listeners. winning tons of awards, placing samples in songs making it a world wide hit, and rapping lyrics with such a wordplay and passion you can't imagine. Stating rap is for mainstream idiots with an average IQ of 80. and "your" genre is for the "real" music lovers, you are a sad person,living in his own world, and we are part of it.

I just don't think you understand that they should be keeping rap out of electronica. And I never said I was wise, or smart, in fact I'm probably not that much smarter than you, but I'm not an ant. That's kind of a big leap. Besides, aren't we both acting like know-it-alls? In the end, truthfully, we're never going to see eye to eye, I'm just pissed that Kanye ruined my image of that Daft Punk song. And if Kanye is such a genius why must he take a Daft Punk sample to make a #1 hit?

I was saying that the trendy, popular music right now, currently, is rap. That means that the average person likes it. That means, since the average person has an I.Q. of 70-80 that a lot of stupid people like rap. Plus, Kanye stutters and doesn't really make his own lyrics, they're not too different and not that difficult to rhyme. Plus, when the hell did I say real music lovers only love my genre? There are other genres that seem just as good and aren't full of idiots who love it.

yes if some jackass was smart he would know that kanye SAMPLED them....i know its a hard word but yes he sampled them. And if he didnt give them any credit then why the hell would he ask them to be in the Stonger music video and in the grammys

these are body doubles dressed like daft punk,if you notice from real daft punk videos, they are not the same height, as they are in this video. and im pretty dang sure thats not a real lemur pad, just a touch screen that looks cool and has squares that light up where you touch them, im not certain about the pads, but im 100% sure thats not really daft punk

And unfortunately they only seemed to use one and joke around on the other 3. (as in, one is a fake EQ, another one is never seen in use, and the guy on stage right is just playing with a triangle thingy, which I doubt controls any effect parameters). I'm not even sure it's daft punk up there, or that they used any of the Lemurs. Makes me sad :(. Whatever, they still rocked and Lemurs still are awesome.
