The skid plates are available both with the factory z71 offroad pakage, and aftermarket.

The rear is a Eaton Gov-Lok, which is standard on chevy HD's. The Gov-Lok works great for me. Keep in mind the truck in the video was designed to tow heavy shit, not offroad for recreation

@specops48 Yeah thats true, didn't think about that. It does give you a few more inches. But it still looks a little odd with all that space left in the wheel well under the body. But then again you usually get a better ride. Every mod has its ups and downs, depends what you want.

@DanEdwardsMusic 1:07 your front diff doesnt look very protected there...where else are they besides the transfercase? and for the locker....is it a full locking, or a "limited slip" deal? and did it come stock? if it did, props to GM for offering it from the factory. but either way, no where close to the capability of a stock power wagon IMO.
