it depends on the song.

if there is no piano sheet music and i love the song so much, i am glad to arrange it by ear.

if there is one, i use it, but i do not trust it entirely, i will add and change some measures and notes according to the original key and mood by my ear and sense ^-^

Fantastic! How did you learn the skills to play in such a manner? I'm working on learning fingerstyle, but I wouldn't know how to transition into playing something like that. Are people just reading tabs as they play? I tend to memorize stuff (mostly write my own). I can't read music, and tab is slow for me.

Love these old Nobuo Uematsu tunes soooo much. Great job. Best version on YouTube by far.
