after yuh get a gig you can ask the photographer to make yuh a comp card or yuh can do it urself. if yuh arent freelance but with an agency a client may ask for your particular look whereby yuh go & 'audition' for the client & hope yuh get the shoot.
@Nabiha23 hey...you want to do your research, look up modelling agencies around where you live... and call the company, that you are interested in modelling. but make sure it is free!!! you should not have to pay a cent to do modelling, because it is your job, you are supposed to be receiving money, not loosing money. you do not need to have a portfolio right away...if you explain ahead of time to them...they should understand that it may be only your first time.
@101janos as well as for instance you are modeing for hollester.... you can not model for american eagle, because they are rival companies. so make sure you do you research on companies before you model in them, and see if you doing holster is better then modelling in american eagle, cuz if it is, you may be more known beacuase the company is as well known, as well as you may receive more money. If you do well in a photoshoot as well you receive more money as well.
