  • Can you do a video of how you are controlling the pokey chip. Also I really wish someone would make a tracker or some kind of music cart for the 5200 because it is one of my favorite systems do you have any insight on that ever happening?

  • @Psqwall I am controlling it from Ableton Live via an Arduino board. I plan on documenting this soon, actually.

  • Is this recorded from original hardware, or an emulator? Sounds a little bit too clean to me!

  • @shalroth It's recorded directly from a MIDI controlled pokey chip - ie. directly from the audio output pin.

  • awesome. though I am not much into YCCTW... I just find the pokey chip sound to be a bit obnoxious.

  • I much prefer the POKEY sound to the Atari ST YM chip.
