The BEST laugh of this movie is provided by the "uniform" of actor Colin Stinton who plays the chatacter "Jim Cox" in the movie who is supposed to be some kind of high-ranking US military officer...the laugh is that he is wearing a US Navy tunic, jump wings, four captains bars on his right shoulder and 4 crossed rifle infantry insignia on his left...his medals are a repeating mix of various red service awards and the whole thing is HILARIOUS to anyone familiar with US rank and insignia!
Lucky those vegetables were there....those guys could've been hurt. They may have had to go to a chirpractor...I'm not sure if that's covered under health insurance.
Does anyone think that the tagline "A Father's Rage knows no limits" is a lil inappropriate for this film?
I mean, yeah, its about Steven Seagal fighting to save his daughter, but there is so lil chemistry btween dad and daughter, we barely get to see them together until the end. So its kinda odd.
Not that I'm complaining, though. This movie is awesome ^^
I'm an Italian fan, sorry for my poor english...The Best Steven Seagal's DTV Film are Into The Sun... Out for a Kill are good; Mercenary for the Justice, Today You Die, Kill Switch and Pistol Whipped are decent; Urban Justice, The Foreigner 1 & 2, Ticker, Out of a Reach, Submerged and this Belly of the Beast are very very very bad.... the best is Into the Sun, the best since Exit Wounds...
why have they turned Seagal into a comic for the kids flying now above the ground and doing kung fu dance when nothing is real now. Before his aikido was true and clear, now it is rubbish for the kids
I just watched this movie today, and holy hell I wish every Seagal movie was this good. It had some very good action scenes in it. His next movie Ruslan looks promising as well. Belly of the Beast, Pistol Whipped, and Urban Justice are his top 3 dtv's.
Unintentional laughs or not, this film is extremely entertaining. "Urban Justice" is also very good. I prefer these films to po-faced crap like "The Dark Knight". Seagal wouldn`t fret over moral issues he'd just snap the Joker's wrist, thumb out his eyeballs and throw him out a fucking window
although i like the actor very much,he does also use a lot of stunt men in his fight scenes, not so much in this movie but most other movies its a stunt man instead of him if you go frame by frame youll notice what i mean.i love all of his movies, they are violent and entertainig,:).

Seagal shouldn't be doing movies with the word BELLY in the title.

Belly is right, but I think it's a bit unfair to call him a beast

i thought that steven seagals expertise was only in aikido but i realize that he's also good in wudang's baguazhang.

at least he is more spiritual in his ass kicking these days. He used to spit on dead bad guys, now he waves his arms around.

I prefer Seagal Sensei's aikido days :) Spin kicks don't seem to suit his general style.
